Yesterday was an epic day for white nationalism in America. Trump’s surrogates gave racist, totalitarian speeches, and state TV went full on attack against the opposition.
In Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ immigration speech to sheriffs in New Orleans, he gave a shout out to Anglo American history and mentioned that now is a time to know how to avoid lawsuits. He went on and on about law and order. When he talked about all those criminals out there, he said confessing and cooperating is in their best interest because confession is good for the soul.
Sessions dismissed the comparisons of Trump’s children’s camps to Nazi concentration camps because the Nazis were keeping the Jews from leaving. It’s different.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders pushed blonde, blue eyed, Nordic looking DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen out in front for the daily press briefing. She denied all of the accusations hurled at her and the Department of Homeland Security. She denied separating parents from their children. They’re not taking kids away from parents because they’re not parents — they’re traffickers. And since they’re traffickers and not parents, they’re not obligated to reunite them.
The Trump administration has reclassified asylum seekers as human traffickers so they can imprison the adults, take the children, and treat each incident as a crime.
Nielsen also said it was “cowardly” of Democrats to claim that children were being used as leverage for the wall.
Parents are being deported without their kids and there is no protocol to reunite families.
When confronted with child abuse, Nielsen said, “It’s important to understand that these minors are very well taken care of. Don’t believe the press…….enough of this misinformation. This administration did not create a policy of separating families at the border.”
Chairwoman of “Women for Trump,” Amy Kremer, says boo hoo hoo about sobbing immigrant children — “I cried leaving my dog last night.”
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson says the elite have turned illegal immigrants’ children into a spectacle. It’s gone from a traditional news story to an event, a competition for elites to see who can reach the greatest heights in rhetorical excess in self righteous posturing. It’s “performance art.”
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham said the child detention centers are essentially summer camps or boarding schools.
All living First Ladies denounced what the Trump administration is doing to families. Fox News’ Lou Dobbs said, “It’s kind of interesting. Suddenly, we have all of the living First Ladies talking about zero tolerance on the border. Now, who do you suppose organized that?”
Ann Coulter went on Fox News and called crying immigrant children “child actors.”
Trump said, on camera at the White House with Mike the Baptist Pence by his side, “ Immigration is the fault — and all of the problems that we’re having — because we cannot get them to sign legislation, we cannot get them even to the negotiating table. And I say it’s very strongly the Democrats’ fault. They’re obstruction. They’re really obstructionist, and they are obstructing.”
Trump has politicized the border crisis as a law and not a policy. This is a mid term strategy to keep his base pumped up and ready to cast that white supremacist hate vote.
The average number of migrant kids taken from their parents per day last month was 46. This month it’s 67.
An audio tape surfaced of screaming, begging, caged children, pleading for help. The guards cracked jokes, “We have an orchestra here.”
A six year old asked for her aunts to come get her. She had their phone numbers memorized.
A little boy was seen clutching a piece of paper — a photocopy of his mother’s ID card.
Senator Kamala Harris has called for DHS Secretary Nielsen to resign.
Senator Mazie Hirono has called for every person in the Trump administration who lies for Trump to resign.
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi has called for DHS Secretary Nielsen to resign.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: The Republicans have never been this quiet.
Trump loves the chaos. This is reality TV. He’s got everybody talking and looking at this so they aren’t talking and looking at that.
There is no border crisis. We have a moral crisis.
