Again

It happened again. More people shot. The 565th mass shooting happened last night in Lewiston, Maine. 18 were killed and 14 were injured. The victims were either at a bar and grill or a bowling alley, unwinding from the day and enjoying each other’s company. It was youth night at the bowling alley so there were a lot of teenagers inside. Lewiston is the second largest city in the state, but it’s small. Only 37,000 people live there. The police force only has 82 officers. The shooting has impacted every single resident one way or another. Maine doesn’t have a large population, only 1.3 million. It has loose gun laws. The shooter is still at large. Schools are closed and houses are on lock down. Talking heads on TV are saying the same old shit, pondering the motivation of the shooter. Who gives a shit about why he did it. He couldn’t have done it without an assault rifle. The shooter’s social media timelines featured a lot of right wing media so that’s all anybody needs to know.

The new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is a Christian nationalist. A clip of him on some Christian TV show has turned up. The show was about God and politics and he was being interviewed. He said, “We don’t live in a democracy,” we live in a “biblical” republic. He’s not one of the shitty Republicans that panders to evangelicals. He’s a hard right evangelical. Once he was sworn in he joked that his wife couldn’t be there to witness it because she was too busy praying. “She’s spent the last couple of weeks on her knees in prayer to the Lord. And, um, she’s a little worn out.” Mike Johnson believes that women are having abortions while they’re in labor. He wants to make it a crime for women to get abortions and he wants to make it a crime for two people of the same sex to have sex. He was part of a chain of texts to Mark Meadows about January 6th so Jack Smith knows all about him. He refuses to answer any questions about that.

Trump did it again. He mouthed off to the press and was then forced to take the stand in his civil trial because he threatened the law clerk again. He violated a gag order, AGAIN. The judge ripped him a new one, fined him $10,000, and warned him that the next time he does it the punishment will be worse. The judge told him that he didn’t find him credible and that there was so much evidence against him it could fill the entire courtroom. This is the second time that he has been fined for his big mouth. The first time was for $5,000. He got so mad he stormed out of the court room, with the Secret Service scrambling to keep up with him, so he could talk to the press again to violate his gag order again and make himself out to be the victim again.

Jack Smith thinks Trump is a menace to society and has asked Judge Chutkan, who is presiding over the criminal trial in DC to put him in jail if he threatens one more person related to the case.

Here we go again. A good Christian molested kids. North Carolina Christian school finance officer, Tammy Tyner, raped two exchange students she hosted in her home but was only sentenced to probation. Tammy Tyner is not a drag queen or gay person. She’s a proper white Christian woman. Another church lady gets away with it again.

It’s Hillary Clinton’s 76th birthday today. She was right about everything and won the popular vote but was vilified by Republicans which ignited misogyny in the electorate. People were willing to believe the most ridiculous, outrageous lies about her because she was a woman and a Democrat while ignoring the obvious, blatant truths about Trump because he was a famous white man.

The famous white man will be a convicted felon before election day and MAGAs will vote for him, again.
