American Exceptionalism
Emails have surfaced from Trump’s top public health appointee, Paul Alexander, that show how he was pushing top health officials to adopt a “herd immunity” approach to the coronavirus so that millions of Americans would get it. “We want them infected,” he wrote. He also directed people not to let on how many minorities are getting it because that would make them look bad during this election cycle. The US has 19% of the world’s deaths and that has been intentional. Paul Alexander’s attitude was, “Who cares?” Literally. He wrote that. Emails also admit that their strategy was to blame anything bad on the career scientists. The White House’s handling of the pandemic has been a humanitarian disaster and yet it isn’t seen as the scandal that it is. American exceptionalism isn’t what it used to be. It’s everybody except America now. The government kills its people.
Interior Secretary David Bernhardt got the Trump Plague so now he has to cancel his super spreader Christmas party. Hours after Mike Pompeo’s dud Christmas party he was notified that he too has exposed to the virus so now he has to quarantine. He exposed everybody at his dud super spreader event. Herd mentality doesn’t mean that everybody else will get it except big shots in the government. They’re getting it too. Fuckers.
Mike Pence and his wife will get the vaccine tomorrow. He gets to cut in line ahead of frontline health workers even though he let many of them die. Me first! Me first! Everybody in line will have to step back except for me and Mother! Step back!
Child TV star turned sexist freak for Jesus, Kirk Cameron, led 500 people in Christmas carols inside a mall in southern California, exposing everybody there to the virus as most of the carolers weren’t wearing masks. If they get sick it’s OK because they’re the chosen people, the exceptional ones. Jesus will cure them and if he doesn’t then he’ll beam them up so either way, fuck everybody else.
A married couple in Texas, both teachers, died of the coronavirus minutes apart from one another, holding hands. They had been married, in sickness and in health, for 30 years and leave behind 5 sons and 20 grand kids. If the money before people Republican governor, Greg Abbott, hadn’t forced them back to work they’d be holding hands in perfect health.
Congresswoman Katie Porter’s grandmother is dying of the coronavirus. She’s pissed and grief stricken and says, “Mitch is in the way.”
Mitch McConnell has not let the Senate vote on the House stimulus bill for months because like Greg Abbott, it’s money before people. He acts more like a criminal attorney for corporations, Republican politicians and rich people than the Senate Majority Leader. He’s starting to feel the heat because his wife, Elaine Chao, who got a cushy job as Transportation Secretary in exchange for Moscow Mitch’s loyalty to Trump, is under investigation for using her position to help her Chinese family’s shipping business. Laws and rules are for everybody except rich Republicans.
8 million Americans have fallen into poverty because of the Trump Plague. 27.4 million American adults say they don’t have enough to eat and 14.3 million parents say they don’t have enough food for their kids. America is not for anybody except the filthy rich.

Senator Ron Johnson continues to use his power to hold ridiculous Trump Derangement Syndrome hearings. Thankfully, former HSA Cyber Director, Chris Krebs, was called to testify (by a Democrat on the committee.) He made a fool of Ron Johnson and the rest of the Republicans by explaining how data is being spun inaccurately by them to sell election fraud. “We have to stop this, it’s undermining confidence in democracy. This is not the America I recognize. It’s got to stop. I would appreciate more support from my own party, the Republican Party, to call this stuff out and end it. We have to move on. We have a president-elect in President-elect Biden. We have to move on.”
Incoming White House deputy chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon referred to Capitol Hill Republicans as “fuckers” in a Glamour interview. Republicans are appalled and are demanding respect. They’ve been taking shots at Jill Biden for being highly educated but never said anything about Melania Trump’s naked pictures on the internet. They’re not appalled by 3,000 people dying every day from the Trump Plague, but the f bomb? That’s going too far. We take exception to that.

Fix News and MAGAs don’t get any respect because they’re a bunch of fuckers who are a drain on society, a pain in our collective ass, and a stain on our standing in the world. Now the whole world knows just how unexceptional America really is. America is an exception to the golden rule.
