Bill Barr is a religious extremist who thinks Trump was installed by God. He tried to get Geoffrey Berman to resign as the Manhattan US attorney, got Manafort sent to a nice detention center to do his time, was instrumental in commuting Roger Stone’s sentence, walked out with Trump for a photo op after they both had the area cleared of Black Lives protesters using rubber bullets and tear gas fired by the National Guard and their own secret police that have yet to be identified.

Trump wanted Bill Barr to investigate Joe Biden and the media’s coverage of the covid pandemic.

Bill Barr finally got reamed by the Democrats in a Senate hearing after playing all sort of games to avoid being questioned. He tried to appear relaxed and unconcerned but he didn’t fool the Dems.

Senator Kamala Harris, the former attorney general of California, got Barr to admit that he never reviewed the underlying evidence of the report before deciding the president would not be charged for obstruction. She asked for his resignation.

Senator Richard Blumenthal asked Barr for the notes he took while talking to Mueller. Barr said, “NO.” Blumenthal asked, “Why not?” Barr snapped back, “Why should you have them?” Senator Blumenthal asked for Barr’s resignation.

Senator Mazie Hirono said, “The American people now know that you are no different than Rudy Giuliani and Kellyanne Conway. People who have sacrificed their once decent reputations for a grifter and liar who sits in the Oval Office. You used every advantage of your office to make it seem like President Trump was cleared. You put the power of your office behind a public relations push for President Trump. You lied to Congress. You knew you lied and now we know.” Senator Hirono demanded Barr’s resignation.

Senator John Kennedy accused those who called for Barr’s resignation to be to the left of Lenin.

Lindsey Graham accused Senator Hirono of slandering Bill Barr and announced that as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee he was not going to call Robert Mueller to testify about the Mueller Report. The US attorney general and the chair of the US Senate Judiciary Committee worked together to protect a criminal president.

Bill Barr blew off the House Judiciary Committee meeting which angered Chair Jerry Nadler. He said, “He is trying to render Congress inert as a separate and coequal branch of government.”

Bill Barr blamed Robert Mueller for the 4 week delay between when he got the report and when he “released” it and then tried to claim that Mueller didn’t identify the information that was to be redacted. He acted like it was no big deal and that everybody should just chill out and let the voters decide in 18 months. Besides, this whole thing was Obama’s fault.

Robert Mueller contacted Bill Barr many times to say release the report with the summaries he had prepared but Barr refused. Barr was in charge of 14 investigations that were referred to DOJ by Robert Mueller. What did he do with those?
