The bromance between Putin and Trump has been going on for decades. Putin has been romancing Trump by flattering him, buying him gifts, and telling him how great he is for quite some time. Trump is very easy to seduce.

Putin has been gathering kompromat (compromising information) on Trump and cultivating him for 40 years, first as KGB and then as president of Russia. Trump sees Putin as powerful and strong, qualities that he pretends he has himself. Like an obsessed fan, Trump has lied about having a relationship with Putin for many years. He even sent Putin a fan letter in 2007 and congratulated him on being named, “Person of the Year” in TIME Magazine. Putin doesn’t feel the same way about Trump but he pretends he does. He sees Trump as weak and foolish, and very easy to take advantage of, like a pathetic groupie.

It all started way back in 1987 when Trump and his first wife, Ivana visited Moscow and St Petersburg for the first time. As usual, Trump went big and drew all sorts of attention to himself. That’s when the KGB learned how stupid, insecure, grandiose, and arrogant he was — the perfect target. His impulsive nature, inferiority complex, and lack of education and analytical curiosity made him very attractive. Being mentally unstable and unbalanced made him irresistible. They started flattering him and telling him he should go into politics. The Russians made him believe that they thought he could be president one day. It was that easy. Soon after he returned to the states he held his first presidential campaign event and took out a full page ad in the New York Times, Washington Post and Boston Globe with the headline, “There’s nothing wrong with America’s Foreign Defense Policy that a little backbone can’t cure.” The Russians couldn’t believe their dumb luck. They had been going after dozens of people to groom them for the job of president of the United States, and this guy landed in their lap. They never expected it would be that easy.

In 2015, they got their sucker ready and in 2016 they made that stupid idiot president of the United States. The Russians figured the Americans would be so shocked that Trump won that they would forget all about Ukraine and Crimea and everything else and they did. All Putin had to do was keep flirting with Trump and he’d have him eating out of the palm of his hand. If the kompromat didn’t get him to do what Putin wanted him to do, then flattery would. If those two motivations didn’t work, then money would do it. Both bros worship money.

Trump’s god is money. Putin’s god is money.

Trump lies about everything. Putin lies about everything.

Trump gets revenge on his enemies. Putin gets revenge on his enemies.

Trump gaslit his country. Putin gaslights his country.

Trump “won” his election unfairly. Putin “won” his election unfairly.

Trump loves the poorly educated. Putin loves the poorly educated.

Trump called the free press the enemy of the people, Putin calls any press other than state media the enemy of the people.

Putin makes $100,000 as president of Russia and is the richest man in the world. Trump made $400,000 as president of the United States and pretended to be the richest man in the world.

Putin is dismantling the West. Trump dismantled the West — for Putin.

Putin trashed the Russian economy with his war and Trump trashed the American economy by refusing to do anything about the pandemic.

Putin kills his people, Trump killed his people, by refusing to do anything about the pandemic.

Putin is a sadist. Trump is a sadist. Both men get off on watching people suffer.

Putin is a murderer and Trump wants to be his friend. He thinks that if he flatters Putin then Putin will want to be his friend. He called Putin’s invasion of Ukraine “genius,” “very savvy,” and “an act of love” for wanting to “make his country bigger.”

One good thing about Trump and Putin’s bromance is that Putin’s head got too big after being bromanced by Trump for 4 years. He lost his grip. Trump made him feel like he could conquer the world and has learned that he can’t. He underestimated Ukraine. He’s getting his ass kicked which is not only humiliating, but he’s getting it kicked while living in a bubble, completely out of touch with the real world which is united and against him.
