Back In The USSR Timeline Part 5 — The Spy Who Loved Republicans
Remember Maria Butina? She was a Russian spy who posed as a Russian reporter (somehow she got into the White House with fake press credentials and stood up to ask Trump if he was going to lift the sanctions on Russia during a press conference,) a gun nut, and a Republican sexy Russian girl. She got busted and sent to prison for 18 months in 2018 after she pleaded guilty to conspiracy against the United States. Today she sits in Russia’s lower House of Parliament. She’s got her own quasi-clothing line consisting of “Z” shirts that appear to be modeled on the “Z” painted on many Russian military vehicles that are attacking Ukraine right now — “Team in support of our army and president. Work, brothers!”
She gave up information about how she infiltrated the NRA. She became a lifetime member and seduced gun nut members, getting them to believe that the Russians liked guns as much as they did. Once bonded over guns, she set about getting a back channel created between the Kremlin and the Republican Party, right through the NRA. This got done before the 2016 election. Alexander Torshin, the Russian mobster and money launderer, was her boss. Her lawyers argued that she should just be sent back to Russia without doing any jail time and Attorney General Bill Barr agreed (did he include Maria in his book coming out this month?) He was probably worried about her making statements and giving further testimony that would be bad for his client, Trump. Maria also took part in getting Putin’s “friend” Rex Tillerson a job as Trump’s Secretary of State.
One of her American much older boyfriends, Paul Erickson, a conservative activist who has worked on several campaign, told her all sorts of stuff and she got him to do all sorts of stuff because she was his sexy Russian girlfriend. He even wrote in an email, “I’ve been involved in securing a VERY private line of communication between the Kremlin and GOP leaders via the NRA.” Trump ended up pardoning him. One of her other American boyfriends was Patrick Byrne, the CEO of Overstock and deep state conspiracy theorist. He resigned after everybody found out he was boinking a Russian spy.
Maria Butina was young and pretty and she really got around. In addition to all of the many events and activities she got invited to because of her lifetime membership in the NRA, she also knew people who organized the National Prayer Breakfast (as in pray to Republican Jesus and be sure to put A LOT in the collection plate as it comes around.) Some of the Viagra addicted old white Republicans she was friendly with who wanted to go shooting with her were: Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, NRA President Wayne LaPierre, Congressman and former Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina, Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky, and big shot David Keene of the NRA.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the central government institution charged with leading the foreign policy and foreign relations of Russia, created a hashtag with Maria’s photo in her honor. #freemariabutina. They used it as their profile picture on Twitter. After she got out of jail and returned to Russia, she went on state TV and told people that while she was in jail she was forced to eat off of the floor, had to fight for food, couldn’t pee all day, and was under constant threat of being raped by guards.
The NRA and Michael Flynn were both in Moscow in December of 2015, right before the Republican primary. Maria Butina was there too.
Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton was involved with the NRA and Russia for 6 years. He wrote a book too. Not many people read it. Did he mention the NRA or Russia? How about Maria?
The RNC and the Trump campaign paid the legal fees for people caught up in the Russia scandal. Much of that money came from Russia.
