24 hours after the DOJ made its recommendation for the sentencing of Roger Stone, it reversed its recommendation after Trump tweeted how unfair it was. It changed it’s mind, saying that 7–9 years is extreme for witness tampering, lying under oath and impeding a congressional investigation of a national security issue. The sentence they recommended is excessive and grossly disproportionate, it said. This is the work of Bill Barr. He intervened with changing the sentencing recommendation for Mike Flynn too.
At the same time, the Senate blocked 3 bills to protect our elections. The Republicans will do anything to stay in power. They can’t win if they don’t cheat. America is a banana republic.

The 4 prosecutors in Roger Stone’s case who had made the actual sentencing recommendation heard about what Bill Barr did from Fox News and resigned. They’ll be punished for sure, just like Lt. Col. Vindman. Now that Trump has fired him he wants the military to take disciplinary action against him for giving testimony in the impeachment hearings after he was SUBPOENAED.
Trump confirmed what Bill Barr did in a morning tweet: Congratulations to Attorney General Bill Barr for taking charge of a case that was totally out of control and perhaps should not have even been brought. Evidence now clearly shows that the Mueller Scam was improperly brought & tainted. Even Bob Mueller lied to Congress!
When asked about involving himself in Stone’s sentencing, Trump said, ON CAMERA, that he had the absolute right to tell the Justice Department what to do.
Senator Kamala Harris has demanded that Bill Barr testify immediately regarding the Roger Stone sentencing.
The executive is controlling all branches of government. The Department of Justice is no longer independent or apolitical. Power has been consolidated. Punishment is not for Trump, the Republicans, Bill Barr, or anyone else involved in crimes against the country, but for anyone who speaks out against Trump. We’ve slipped from the threat of losing our democracy to losing our democracy. Now what?

Republican senators Mitt Romney and Ben Sasse were on the same JetBlue flight from Palm Beach to DCA. Everybody on board gave Romney a round of applause as they were all waiting to deplane. Nobody clapped for Ben Sasse.
It took Trump only 3 years to dismantle most of the basic institutional barriers that we have depended on to insulate federal law enforcement from White House interference. Trump is in charge of the Department of Justice now. He’s all powerful.
