A judge just released the full report compiled by the Fulton County special grand jury that lists their recommendations for indictment. There were more people on the list of recommendations than the 19 we already know about. Some of the others were Lindsey Graham, former Georgia US senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, Lin Wood, Cleta Mitchell, and Michael Flynn.
A sitting member of the US Senate, Lindsey Graham, is on record now for playing an active role in the overturning of a presidential 2020 election. He’s got to go.
House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to Fulton County DA Fani Willis, demanding that she turn over information on her Trump investigation. Willis responded by telling him he’s an idiot. She said he was trying to obstruct a criminal proceeding and called him out for accusing her of being partisan and going after Trump for political reasons. She suggested he’d make better use of his time by investigating the deadly racist threats that keep being made against her and her staff. “Your letter makes clear that you lack a basic understanding of the law,” she wrote in her response. She said he didn’t understand racketeering law and suggested he buy a book about it, RICO State-by-State. “As a non-member of the bar, you can purchase a copy for $249.” BOOM. Jim Jordan went to law school but he never passed the bar. POW!

Fani Willis has filed a motion to protect the identities of jurors who will be chosen for the 19 RICO defendants citing what happened to the grand jurors as her rationale. MAGAs were able to find their identities and addresses and made threats against them. They have shared their personal information online. Fani Willis has been unsuccessful at getting the names taken down because they are published on a Russian website and they won’t take them down. She’s trying to prevent that from happening this time.
Trump’s former advisor, Peter Navarro, was convicted of contempt of Congress. He’s appealing like Steve Bannon did. Bannon was sentenced to 4 months for blowing off the subpoena from the Select Committee. None of the Republican members of Congress who were subpoenaed but refused to testify before the Select Committee were referred to the DOJ for prosecution.
E. Jean Carroll won her summary judgement. The trial is in January. The jury will decide how much Trump has to pay again. He had to pay $5 million for defaming her the first time.
In his disbarment hearing John Eastman refused to answer whether or not they asked Chuck Grassley to proceed over the count on January 6 since Mike Pence refused. Chuck Grassley says he doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Is that because he’s lying or he’s so ancient he doesn’t know what anybody is talking about?
In Wisconsin, Republicans are meeting behind closed doors and after hours to discuss impeaching the newly elected state Supreme Court justice, Janet Protasiewicz, before she even hears a case. Her election tipped the court in a liberal direction. Their attempt to remove her is coming at a time when the court is being asked to throw out legislative electoral maps drawn by the Republican controlled Legislature that gives Republicans solid majorities, which now stand at 64–35 in the Assembly and a 22–11 supermajority in the Senate. They’ve devised it so they can control both houses and veto the Democratic governor. Like Trump trying to nullify the presidential election, the Republicans in Wisconsin are trying to nullify this election, which was won by 11 points, by impeaching her before she even gets to work. Their reason for impeaching her is because she wants to “save democracy”.
A federal court struck down Alabama’s latest GOP congressional map and will appoint a special master to draw a new one so Black votes will count. A second majority Black district must be created.
A Florida judge struck down Ron DeSantis’s congressional map, saying it violates the state constitution by diluting Black voting power.
Black voters in Georgia filed a lawsuit challenging the state’s congressional map. They say that the district lines were redrawn to count them out. Their case just went to trial.
