Kamala Harris has made her VP pick and it’s Governor Tim Walz from Minnesota. He’s one of the most popular governors in the country. He’s a retired teacher and football coach (after retiring from a 24 year career in the National Guard) and loves kids so much that he signed legislation to protect LGBTQ youth and give all kids who need it free breakfast and lunch in public schools. He believes in 100% renewable energy, protecting voting rights and abortion rights, and passing universal background checks. He’s very steady and brave under fire and handled COVID beautifully. He’s a folksy Midwesterner, nothing fancy and nothing like the stereotypical coastal “elite” liberals that Republicans have demonized. He married a fellow teacher and is not a millionaire. His net worth is $600K which is reasonable for a guy his age with a couple of pensions. He’s got strong morals and absolutely loves serving the public. He’s an all around swell guy. He started calling the Republicans “weird.” If he didn’t give the campaign the idea then he was the first to say it. Like Kamala and most intelligent people, he’s got a great sense of humor. He’ll make a great stepdad for the country after losing Biden.

The Harris campaign has launched Republicans for Harris. Republican to Republican with targeted ads and themed events. Headed by women, these women have the guts to risk their political careers and long established relationships to be some of the very first to say enough is enough — country before party. We have to elect someone with integrity who can save our democracy. In the meantime, they want to reinvent themselves and figure out what being a Republican means.
Remember when the Republican Party was your dad’s party?
