President Biden announced that the FDA has cleared the way for hearing aids to be sold over the counter without a prescription. Starting in mid-October, adults should be able to buy hearing aids online and in retail stores. Seniors will not pay more than $2,000 a year for their prescriptions for Medicare.
He also cancelled $3.9 billion in more student loan debt bringing the total amount of cancelled debt to $32 billion, and he signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law — lowering costs for families, combatting the climate crisis, reducing the deficit, and making the largest corporations pay for it. Nobody making less than $400,000 a year will pay more in taxes. He and the Dems fought big pharma, who spent millions and employed hundreds of lobbyists, and won, after 3 decades of trying.
The Select Committee is “engaging with” at least 9 former Trump cabinet officials.
Mike Pence says he’s open for sitting for questions by the Select Committee if formally asked.
Trump’s former White House legal counsel and his deputy, Pat Cipollone and Patrick Philbin, were interviewed by the FBI in connection with the top secret boxes at Mar-a-Lago in the spring. Nobody would have known about any of this if Trump hadn’t opened his big dumb mouth and announced that he was being raided by the FBI. They have been tight lipped and sealed shut — no leaks. Trump blew it for himself.
Trump is acting like he’s still the president and that the attorney general should be working for him like Bill Barr did. He thinks all of those documents he took belong to him. He declassified them all at once by declaring them so.
Trump’s attorneys are stooges. Christina Bobb, a former pundit on OAN news, signed off on the warrant docs and then went on TV and demanded they release the docs that she had in her possession. One of his other attorneys is the former general counsel for a parking garage company, Alina Habba, and the other is Lindsey Halligan, is an insurance lawyer in Florida who has never handled a federal case.
Trump’s social media company, Truth Social, that he uses in lieu of Twitter because Twitter kicked him off, is in the hole $59 million. The CEO is former congressman Devin Nunes, who got the job as a reward for taking care of him while he was part of the transition team and chair of the House Intelligence Committee by passing confidential information on to him about what the committee had on him and Russia. Devin is always suing people. He brought a $75 million lawsuit against Hearst Magazine Media, Inc and journalist Ryan Lizza for hurting his feelings and now a federal judge has ordered that Truth Social release his employee records as part of the suit.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee has cut TV ad spending in 3 states because their candidates aren’t worth it — Trump humpers Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania ($7.5 million), Blake Masters in Arizona ($3.5 million), and Ron Johnson in Wisconsin ($2.5 million). Dems could pick up two seats in the senate!
The fake electors in Pennsylvania have been subpoenaed by the DOJ.
Federal magistrate judge Bruce Reinhart has set a hearing for Thursday at 1 p.m. ET to announce whether to unseal the other Trump Mar-a-Lago search warrant affidavit.

Sarah Palin won the primary election of the open House seat in Alaska last night. Her ex-in laws Jim and Faye Palin, hosted an election eve party for Nick Begich, a Democrat running in the same election.
Wyoming Republicans punished Liz Cheney by voting her out of Congress in the primary last night and voting a Trumplican in. Everybody that voted against her must be shamed for voting for fascism. The last Republican is leaving the party. The GOP is no more. She said, “This primary election is over but now the real work begins.” She pledged to be “very clear-eyed about the threat we face and do whatever it takes to ensure that Donald Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office.”
