The right is desperately trying to make Charlie Kirk their George Floyd by holding him up as a saint and forcing people to worship him by erecting statues of him on college campuses, making “rules” that keep people from criticizing him (airlines are firing employees who make disparaging remarks about Kirk for example and AG Pam Bondi said she was going to prosecute anyone who made fun of Charlie Kirk or pointed out the things that he’s said), and vowing revenge on the left for killing him like Jesus (JD Vance filled in for Charlie Kirk’s podcast and blamed the left for his death). The left had nothing to do with it. Charlie Kirk was killed by a faction of their own.
