Concentration Camps, Self Declared Immunity, and Iran

Trump tweeted this morning that he was cocked and loaded and ready to blow Iran away but then he decided against it because Putin told him not to. Trump stopped a war before he even started it.

It’s a good thing that Putin got to Trump before Sean Hannity did. He told Iran on his show last night, “You’re going to get the living crap bombed out of you!”

It’s a good thing that Trump stopped a war because we don’t have a Secretary of Defense. He had one lined up to be confirmed but he withdrew his nomination because he couldn’t keep it a secret that he covered for his son who beat his ex-wife to a pulp with a baseball bat. Trump has a 65% turnover rate in his senior leaders. His Homeland Security secretary, UN ambassador and chief of staff are all “acting” which is like using a temp agency to get out of hiring full time employees.

Trump said that Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan did a wonderful job, but that he has decided not to go forward with his confirmation process so that he can devote more time to his family that beats each other with baseball bats.

John Bolton and Mike Pompeo are mad a Putin now. They really, really wanted that war.

Trump’s foreign policy is “we’ll see what happens.”

Hope Hicks really rubbed the Democrats’ faces in it behind closed doors yesterday for 8 hours when she showed up to her hearing with 6 attorneys: 2 private lawyers, 3 White House lawyers, and 1 from the Department of Justice. She was asked 155 questions but wouldn’t answer any of them except is the sky blue. This is un-American and illegal but she got away with it. She walked right out of the hearing room like she owned the place. Because she does.

Republicans in Oregon ran out of the State Capitol to deny Democrats a quorum to vote on a major climate bill. The governor sent the cops after them to bring them back.

Kids are being held like farm animals, lying in their own filth and thrown a trough of slop from time to time at a facility near El Paso. A team of attorneys just visited and was told by 3 girls, ages 10–15 that they had been caring for a 2 year old little boy who was sick. He wasn’t wearing a diaper and he had wet his pants. His shirt was smeared in dirt and snot. The girls said at least 15 kids had the flu, and and that some were kept in medical quarantine. They are being fed uncooked frozen food or rice and are being denied showers and clean clothes. Meanwhile, the government is arguing in court that it doesn’t need to provide children in concentration camps with proper bedding, toothbrushes and soap. The judges are appalled.

Republicans are pissed off at Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for calling the detention centers “concentration camps.” That’s not fair! Nobody is being gassed or executed or forced to work! Jeez! Get it right!

“GOP seems to be embracing the ‘it’s not as bad as Auschwitz’ defense for their concentration camps on the border. That’s a bad defense.” — David Rothkopf

While the Republicans attack AOC for calling Trump’s camps concentration camps they don’t ever mention how much Trump is like Hitler, why he’s rounding brown people up and putting them in camps in the first place or the rise in white nationalism across the country. Never mind.

Trump’s Acting ICE Director, Mark Morgan, is furious that AOC calls his camps concentration camps. That’s not true! He’s just a temp, so he can say and do anything without really being fired.

Roy Moore is going to take another shot at running for Senate again in Alabama because Alabama isn’t fucked up enough already.

Justin Trudeau coughed sitting next to Trump in the Oval Office.

We haven’t had a president since President Obama left office.
