The House voted to ask the DOJ to prosecute Steve Bannon for refusing to cooperate with the investigation into the attack on the Capitol. All Democrats voted yes. All but 9 Republicans voted no.

5 veterans who have been serving on Kyrsten Sinema’s 20 person service member advisory committee resigned publicly saying they refuse to buy her representation. They accused her of only being concerned with “answering to big donors rather than your own people” in an open letter and are running an ad on TV calling her a “principal obstacle to progress.”
Greenpeace activists got into an apartment facing the yacht club where Joe Mansion vacations whenever he’s supposed to be working in Congress and hung a huge banner off of the balcony that read, “Manchin — who will you throw overboard?” Kayaktivists protested simultaneously by paddling and chanting on the water below.
Trump is starting his own social media network called “TRUTH Social.” He’s doing it because “your favorite American president has been banned from social media.” One of the terms of service is you can’t say anything negative about Trump.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appeared before the House Judiciary Committee. Nobody asked him if he was investigating Trump. Gym Jordan did what he always does and made a scene by ranting about masks, Hillary Clinton, and the vaccine. He tried to sneak in a video of parents freaking out at a school board meeting and got smacked down. Matt Gaetz, who should not be on that committee because he is under criminal investigation, embarrassed himself by trying to intimidate America’s top cop on camera, the one guy who knows more about Matt Gaetz than anybody else does…….YET.
Matt Gaetz made a speech on the House floor where he said that someone is trying to kill him and the DOJ isn’t doing anything about it because he’s a Republican. He even knows who it is! It’s a guy in Portland who uses the Twitter handle CIABob. He took a shot at the Democrats by saying, “They’re building back meaner.” Neener neener neener.
The DOJ added 2 top prosecutors to the child sex trafficking investigation of Matt Gaetz. One is a public corruption investigator with an expertise in child exploitation crimes, and the other is a top leader of the public corruption unit.
Dan Patrick, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas, is running for re-election. He thought it would be clever to offer a reward for anyone who comes forward with proof of voter fraud. So far only one guy has collected the bounty — a poll worker from Pennsylvania who witnessed someone trying to vote illegally. The law breaker was a Republican.
Texas and Missouri have sued the Biden Administration for halting the border wall. Missouri is bordered by 8 states. It doesn’t share a border with another country (although it was considered a border state during the Civil War. Missouri.) The Show Me State. Show me the illegal immigrants. Show me how this voting machine works. Show me which way the fascist wind blows. Show me your boobs.
Finally, the Federal Reserve is going to ban policy makers and other senior officials from buying individual stocks and bonds. Congress should have made that illegal back in the 19th century when Mark Twain made Missouri cool by calling the boobs out in Congress.

Every day all across America, white people are showing up at school board meetings to fight for their right to endanger their own children, getting sentenced for their part in the in the attack on the Capitol, getting filmed and called out on social media for flipping out in public and going on racist rants, and for threatening health care officials, journalists, and liberals. They’re the last to know that they are being exploited and used for political gain.
