Deep Shit

The New York Times’ front page is covered with the Mueller Report. The last time they dedicated a whole page to anything was 9/11.

Russia attacked our election in a sweeping and systematic fashion by hacking information and manipulating social media. They have been undermining our electoral system since 2014. Trump just happened to coincidentally fall into Russia’s lap. His candidacy was the vehicle they used to attach their operation. Russia hacked information about Hillary and her campaign and gave that stolen information to Wikileaks who in turn turned it over to Trump’s campaign. Russia bought ads and created social media accounts to support Trump’s campaign and smear Hillary. A Republican operative, Peter Smith, killed himself after telling the Washington Post that he had been contacting hackers online to get Hillary’s emails and that the Trump campaign asked him to do it. Trump’s campaign retweeted Russian tweets and shared Russian posts. They knew when WikiLeaks dumps were coming and coordinated their campaign around them. Mueller called it Information Warfare — we were attacked.

This was a military level attack by Russia and the president of the United States not only didn’t defend the country, but he defended Putin and Russia.

Part 1 of the Mueller Report is about the Trump campaign, conspiracy and Russian interference. Part 2 is about Trump obstructing justice and the case for impeachment.

Richard Nixon’s White House counsel, John Dean, who went to jail for his role in Watergate said, “I looked on my shelf for the Senate Watergate Committee report, I looked at the Iran Contra report. I also looked at the Ken Starr report … In 400 words, this report from the special counsel is more damning than all those reports.”

Trump has committed high crimes and misdemeanors but Mueller decided not to indict because that would be a mess and take forever in the courts. He let it be known in his report that he may not be able to prosecute Trump but he can sure investigate him. Trump can be charged after he’s out of office and he can be impeached.

Bob Mueller laid out Trump’s involvement in witness tampering, conspiracy and his abuse of power and the campaign cooperating with a foreign power to win the election.

War profiteer and Betsy DeVos’ brother, Erik Prince, arranged to meet the Russians in the Seychelle Islands to discuss “US-Russia relations.” He lied and said he just happened to be in the middle of the Indian Ocean and bumped into a Russian. What really happened was the Russians wanted to make an in road into the new administration hours after the election and they solicited his help. A call was arranged between Trump and Putin. The Russian met with one of Jared Kushner’s friends who worked up a “US’-Russia relations” plan and gave it to Jared who then gave it to Steve Bannon and Rex Tillerson, Trump’s pick for Secretary of State and Putin’s buddy.

Russia……..a sworn enemy who was in the process of trying to take down our democracy was helped along by the Trump campaign and subsequently got made President of the United States.

Obama put sanctions on Russia for interfering with the election. Mike Flynn called Russia to say play it cool and don’t make a big deal out of it. He asked them not to retaliate because Trump had their back. Hours later Trump congratulated Putin on his “good move” in a tweet.

Paul Manafort briefed the Russian, Konstantin Kilimnik (who had ties to Russian intelligence) that the battleground states they needed to attack so Trump could win were Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Minnesota — all states that nobody could believe he won. In exchange, Manafort agreed to get Trump to give Putin the eastern part of Ukraine.

Trump watched Michael Cohen give false testimony that he instructed him to give. He had Sarah Sanders lie to the press for him. Everybody lied and Trump knew it. Trump knew everything his campaign did. He said he believed Putin over the United States Department of Justice.

Richard Burr, chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, tipped the White House off by telling them that Jim Comey had briefed the Gang of Eight about the Russia investigation. He’s the Senate’s Devin Nunes. They both should resign.

The Trump campaign and administration deleted communications.

Roger Stone’s trial is going to be big. What happens to Julian Assange will be big too.

Paul Manafort is in way more trouble than what he’s already in jail for. He installed friendly officials in foreign governments and negotiated with Putin to get Trump to give him whatever he wanted.

Republican hypocrite fun fact: Republicans used Trump in the same way the Russians did. The idiot fell into their laps and they propped him up and told him where to sign. Make America Great Again is just something Republicans say.

A criminal president who is out of control, a corrupt attorney general, a hostile foreign power inside our government, and a press secretary who lies to the press.

Nixon had Deep Throat. Trump has Deep Shit.
