Dictators, Senators and What’s a Fascist?

Senator Marco Rubio has been obsessively tweeting about Venezuela for 4 days. Yesterday he tweeted out a bloody picture of Muammar Gaddafi, the former Libyan leader who was tortured and killed in the streets after the US intervened to overthrow him. He wants Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to know he could be next. Marco throws in a couple of Biblical quotes now and again to appear tempered and pious. Here’s the log of what he’s tweeted since Friday:

Feb 21–20 times about Venezuela, once about water in Florida

Feb 22–21 times about Venezuela, once about Sherrod Brown and workers in America

Feb 23–51 times about Venezuela, some in Spanish, nothing about Florida or America

Feb 24–13 times about Venezuela plus Luke 6:43,45, nothing about Florida or America

This morning — 3 times about Venezuela in a couple of hours plus Obadiah 1:3–4

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says he’s not ruling out military action to replace Maduro.

There’s a whole lot of oil in Venezuela.

Speaking of US Republican senators posting about dictators, US Senator John Cornyn quoted Mussolini on Twitter: We were the first to assert that the more complicated the forms assumed by civilization, the more restricted the freedom of the individual must become — Benito Mussolini

Mussolini was a fascist dictator and a sworn enemy in WWII who was hung in the streets by his own people. He was the leader of Italy’s National Fascist Party, which he named. If you google fascism, his face usually pops up first BECAUSE HE IS THE FACE OF FASCISM.

Republican voters used to call Obama a fascist because they don’t know what fascist means.

Fox and Friends is telling its viewers that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s equity in staff pay is socialism and communism on display because she doesn’t pay senior staff more than their worth and interns nothing. Apparently that makes her a socialist communist.

Trump took time away from his busy presidenting schedule to watch the Oscars last night. Spike Lee won for a movie that condemns David Duke and Nazis. In his acceptance speech Spike Lee called for a moral choice of love vs. hate which Trump took as a personal attack. He tweeted: Be nice if Spike Lee could read his notes, or better yet not have to use notes at all, when doing his racist hit on your President, who has done more for African Americans (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts, etc.) than almost any other Pres!

Everybody is waiting for Spike to wake up after partying all night to find out Trump tweeted at him.

Republican Senator from Missouri, Roy Blunt, says an investigation into Trump is not necessary because even George Washington wasn’t perfect.

Republican hypocrite fun fact question: When was the last time that a Republican president left a budget surplus?

Fewer people are applying to become diplomats because they’re worried Trump will say or do something stupid that could get them arrested and thrown in jail in a foreign country.

Junior says he may run for president in 2024 because like father like Kim Jong-un.

Tomorrow the House will vote on Joaquin Castro’s resolution to terminate Trump’s fake national emergency and stop his gross abuse of power. They have the votes to pass it.

Trump abusing his power and acting like a dictator……America is waiting for Marco Rubio to wake up and tweet about that.
