Disaster
After 20 freaking years the US has finally left Afghanistan and now it’s a disaster. The Taliban seized control of Kabul, the capital and the president of Afghanistan took off in a helicopter stuffed with cash while his people desperately hung on to US Air Force planes as they took off, hanging on for dear life as everything below fell into chaos. Bush/Cheney started it, Obama and Trump didn’t end it and now that Biden has stepped up to be the bad guy and own the trillion dollar shit show that would always end in horror, he will be forever stuck with the fall of Afghanistan and the rise of the Taliban as part of his legacy and he knew it. Anyway you look at it, this is an awful, colossal disaster.

The GOP took down a page from its website where they bragged about all Trump had done in Afghanistan.
Everybody who has ignored the war in Afghanistan for 20 years is all of a sudden an expert on it. Kids 20 years old and under don’t know anything about it.
Republicans aren’t saying a peep about how big mouth Trump promised to end the war but never did (he actually made things worse for Biden.)
Never forget: Trump “made a deal” with the Taliban without including the Afghanistan government and wanted to invite the Taliban to Camp David on 9/11.
Afghanistan cost $7 trillion. That’s a billion dollars a day since 9/11.
All of a sudden the Republicans care about children. Not America’s children or immigrants’ children — the children of Bush’s war.
Contractors and corporations are fat and happy. They made a killing off of Bush’s war.
Haiti is a disaster after a 7.2 earthquake.
The South is a total disaster. Not only is it being wiped out by covid but it got a little bit more dangerous and a little bit dumber after South Carolina’s governor, Henry McMaster signed the “Open Carry with Training Act” so dangerous dumb red necks with permits can show off their guns in restaurants, shops and churches.
Governor Ron Deathsantis has called a state of emergency for an incoming tropical storm but won’t do it for the disasterous covid storm which has already hit.
Now we all know why Rand Paul has been pro-covid all this time. His wife bought stock in a company that made a covid treatment and “forgot” to disclose it for 16 months. She bought it 8 days after her husband voted against the covid emergency bill. It’s the only stock she has bought in 10 years. The Pauls are making money off of a national disaster that he saw coming.
An elementary school teacher in Northern California was hospitalized after an anti-mask dad punched him in the face over his precious pawn daughter having to wear a mask.
An 8th grade girl in Mississippi died hours after testing positive for covid. She attended classes for a whole week before she died. None of the kids were wearing masks. Governor Tate Reeves isn’t bothered by this at all.
Nurses are bothered plenty by this. They have to deal with this worsening disaster every day. One nurse recalled her recent shift: “Tonight I helplessly held the hand of and stroked the hair of a beautiful 14 year old girl as she exited this world. She was looking forward to starting high school and eventually becoming a veterinarian. It was so senseless! I truly believe she could have been saved if her parents had not forbidden us from intubating her. A free vaccination would have prevented it all! This little girl was robbed of her whole life and of fulfilling all of her dreams. She had been with us 9 days and was able to communicate well until taking a turn for the worse yesterday. About 2 hours later we were unable to save a 25 year old mother of 1 who was 15 weeks pregnant. She had refused the vaccines because of the lies about them causing infertility and harming her baby. Liars killed her, her baby and robbed a 2 year old little boy of his mommy and sibling. Not to mention robbing a husband of his wife and child. Those were 2 of 4 deaths we had tonight with the oldest being 45 years old! It was the 1st time since late March we have lost more than 3 covid patients in a single shift. Then we find out this morning a coworker had 2 of her tires cut in 1 of our employee parking lots overnight! Fortunately, security caught and was able to detain the asshole until police arrived and took him into custody. Fuck the big orange buffoon, DeSantis, Facebook, Fox news, antivaxxers, magas, Dr Mercola, Robert Kennedy Jr, all parents who believe these killers over proven science and ALL other killers who spread anti vaccine lies. I can’t deal with people right now!”
