Trump took a break from golfing and tweeting to give another campaign speech in his capacity as president from the White House disguised as a special Labor Day press briefing. He attacked Joe Biden and his political rivals, bragged about how well he’s handling the coronavirus, and denied everything in the Atlantic Monthly article that said he called US troops suckers and losers — “Only an animal would say things like that.” Animals don’t talk. Is he talking about Animal Farm? Four leggeds good but two leggeds better? No, that can’t be it. He doesn’t read. Whatever. He said ALL soldiers LOVE him because he stands on two legs. The big shots at the Pentagon don’t like him because he wants to stop wars and all they want to do is have war, war, war “so all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy.” Trump described the Atlantic Monthly article with a word he uses often because he doesn’t know many words. He’s all talk with few words. He called it a hoax. The Atlantic Monthly article was a hoax like the Mueller Report and the coronavirus. Then he called Joe Biden “stupid” and wanted credit for not ruining John McCain’s funeral. Then he went after Hunter Biden. There it is. Here we go. The Republicans stand ready with an investigative committee. They’ve got guys in line ready to talk.
Trump accused Joe Biden and Kamala Harris of treason without any evidence. The president of the United States accused a former Vice President and sitting US Senator of treason. From the Oval Office. On television. Reporters just sat there like they always do. They just sat there.
Trump is all talk.
Trump told a reporter to take his mask off when he asked his question. The reporter refused to which pissed Trump off. Take that mask off when you’re talking to me!
The big important regular masturbatory narcissistic “press briefing” in honor of Labor Day was ironic to most but the irony was lost on his cult followers. Labor Day is a liberal holiday. The Dems gave us Labor Day. And weekends. And safe working conditions. And public schools for kids so they don’t have to work in factories. And unions to protect workers from exploitation.
Trump took credit for new jobs in his big important press conference. There aren’t new jobs, just people returning to their old jobs after being laid off because of the Trump Plague.
Where are the 15 million jobs that Ivanka created? Talk talk talk talk talk.
Meanwhile, back at the US Postal Service, Postmaster DeJoy has been outed for pressuring employees to donate to Trump’s campaign with the promise that he would reimburse them if they don’t talk and an investigation is underway in Los Angeles after surveillance video captured a truck dumping bags of mail in a random parking lot.
Stocks are at record highs at the same time that the economy is at record lows. How can that be? Billionaires are doing great. Jeff Bezos made $13 billion in a single day as people who have never been to a food pantry before except maybe to make a donation stood in line for hours to get food for the week.
Who’s talking? Look who’s talking.
If the stock market crashes, it’s all over for Trump. Why hasn’t it?
Tesla forced its workers to take a 10% pay cut from mid-April until July. During that time, Tesla stock skyrocketed and CEO Elon Musk’s net worth quadrupled from $25 billion to over $100 billion. Why is that?
Trump’s former fixer, crime family mob attorney and felon, Michael Cohen, will be doing a lot of talking this week. His book comes out today. Regarding one of the many juicy parts featuring Stormy Daniels Trump said, “It never pays to settle these things, but many many friends have advised me to pay. If it comes out, I’m not sure how it would play with my supporters. But I bet they’d think it’s cool that I slept with a porn star.”
He was right. MAGAs get off on Trump banging a porn star. They like that the Third Lady did soft porn to. It gives them something to talk about.
People stormed the beaches as if there was no dangerous, highly contagious virus this weekend, in honor of Labor Day. Expect a surge in coronavirus infections in 2 weeks and expect Trump to push for a Trump branded vaccine before November 3. Nobody in their right mind would get in line for that and MAGAs believe Trump when he says the coronavirus is a Democratic hoax so why a vaccine? Trump talks too much.
Trump is screaming “rigged election!” again this morning. Republicans aren’t saying anything. They let him do all the talking and screaming while they whisper.
