Exculpatory
Turn on your TVs, America! It’s time for the second episode of Impeach the Reality TV star president! Former ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, will testify in an open hearing. She’s not there to exculpate. She’s there to answer questions about Trump getting rid of her without cause.
13 million watched the first episode.
Trump says impeachment has been very hard on his family. Which one? He’s never mentioned caring about his families before. Why now? Is he planning on resigning to “spend more time with his family” like other politicians do when they can’t be exculpated?
While Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut (as in Sandy Hook) called for bringing up the universal gun background checks bill once again on the Senate floor, Senator Cindy Hyde Smith, Republican from Mississippi, objected on behalf of Republicans. Meanwhile, another school shooting was happening in Southern California, the 30th school shooting for the year.
While kids were running for their lives at school the NRA tweeted this: As Democrats pushed confiscation, October gun sales jumped 10%. Last month we crowned Beto “AR-15 salesman of the month.” After this massive increase, we think the current Democrats still standing deserve “Gun Salespeople of the Year.”
There have been ZERO days without a mass shooting in America and Mitch McConnell has done nothing. Mitch McConnell has a new hashtag, #massacremitch.
The high school that the shooting was at was former congresswoman Katie Hill’s high school. She was forced to resign a few weeks ago. There isn’t anyone in Congress who parents and teachers can call. #massacremitch bears a great deal of blame for children being shot at school.
Three judges who were in town in Indiana for some sort of judicial conference were stumbling down the street wasted drunk, headed towards a strip club in the middle of the night. One of them, the only woman in the group, flipped off a passing SUV that yelled something at them. The SUV turned around, pulled into the White Castle parking lot where the judges were loitering in the middle of the night and shot two of them. When the cops came the one who wasn’t shot, the woman who flipped the shooters off, cried, “This is all my fault!” One judge was suspended without pay for 30 days and the other for 60 days.
Speaking of judges, #massacremitch hasn’t let the Senate vote on anything but judges since the Dems took the House 10 months ago. He’s trying to spin it now that it’s the Dems who are in the way of passing legislation. He’s blaming the Dems for something that everyone knows is his fault. And he did it right after the Senate confirmed Steven Menashi, a guy who has never tried a case, refused to answer Senators’ questions, is hostile towards women’s rights, helped Stephen Miller craft Trump’s white nationalist immigration policies, helped Betsy DeVos roll back protections for vulnerable students, and devised an illegal program to use private Social Security data to deny debt relief to thousands of students who got ripped off by for-profit colleges. He now sits on the bench of the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals, the court that will be decide on Trump’s subpoenas.
Trump asked the Supreme Court to block a subpoena for his tax returns. He really should resign and spend more time with his dependent. What’s his name again? Napolean? Victor? Will? Barron! That’s it! The kid’s name is Barron. Poor kid. The last thing he needs is more time with his father.
Back to confirmed shitty judges. The Federalist Society in Washington DC had a special event and invited disgraced Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to speak. While he was doing that, protesters rolled up in a truck outside of the event with a projected video of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford giving her testimony projected on the side of the truck.
Lindsey Graham blocked an Armenian genocide resolution vote an hour after having lunch with Trump and Erdogan. Erdogan insists Turkey is blameless in the extermination of the Armenians. Trump thinks Turkey is a bird he’s going to pardon soon.
The jury has Roger Stone’s case and Rudy Giuliani is being investigated by federal prosecutors for campaign finance violations and bribing foreign officials. Both incriminate the Reality TV president.
Barron! Get out here Barron! The press is here! Let’s go golfing! What do you mean you don’t have any golf clubs? Smile damnit!
Speaker Nancy Pelosi held a press conference and threw shade at Trump by looking into the camera and saying, “If the president has something that is exculpatory — Mr. President, that means do you have anything that shows your innocence — then he should make that known … So far, we haven’t seen that, but we welcome it.”
The word for the day is exculpatory.
Barron!
