Follow the Leader
Trump is pleased with himself because he got to close the southern border! Finally! Nobody can come into the country through Mexico because he needs to keep us all safe from the Democratic Hoax from China so that infected caravans can’t bring it in. MAGAs won’t think it through and realize that foreigners aren’t going to give them germs. The germs are already here and what they need to be concerned about is not giving it to each other. Trump knows this so he’s turning up the hate on the foreigners dial so he doesn’t lose any followers.
Yesterday’s White House briefing on the coronavirus lasted 90 minutes and it was brutal. The press was spaced far apart from one another but the politicians were are huddled close together at the podium because they’re all following Trump. They each praised him before they spoke. When it was Trump’s turn at the mic he called social distancing “like, the hottest term there is.”
Trump followed Pence with, “We don’t want everyone to get a test!” after Pence told the press that they were making more tests and that new ones will be available every day.
Dr. Fauci followed that shit show by correcting Pence and telling reporters that no, we are not meeting the demand for the availability of tests. Then he stepped aside so Trump could yammer on about the Deep State to appease the conspiracy theory followers, which made Dr Fauci laugh and accidentally touch his face so people wouldn’t see him laughing at the president of the United States on national TV.
Trump says it’s been hard because of Obama. “I inherited a broken, old system that didn’t work … We inherited a broken, old, and, frankly, terrible system. We fixed it, and we’re not getting any credit for it, that I can tell you.” Not true. Trump didn’t follow Obama. He dismantled what Obama created and now the economy is crashing and people are dying.
Trump plugged a malaria drug as being proven effective for treating the coronavirus. When a reporter confronted him about that, Trump replied, “I‘m a man that come from a positive school when it comes to these drugs … people may be surprised. It may work, it may not. I feel good about it. That’s all it is, just a feeling. I’m a smart guy.”
Watch some weirdo try to cash in on the malaria drug cure by selling Tic Tacs on the black market, passing them off as Smart Guy pills to Trump’s followers.
Veteran reporter Peter Alexander asked Trump what he would tell people who are really scared right now, because they are, they’re scared shitless, in fear for their lives and the lives of everybody they love. Trump got mad at Peter and told him that that was a nasty question followed by he was a terrible reporter.
Peter Alexander had just learned that one of his NBC colleagues had died from the coronavirus before going into that briefing.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham told her dumb dumb Fox follower viewers, “Trump, as usual, has sharp instincts. He sees things that sometimes the intellectuals and the academics……that might guest lost in some of the details.”
Intellectual, academic MSNBC news host, Rachel Maddow, who has a bachelors in public policy from Stanford and a doctorate in political science from Oxford University told her intellectual viewers that it’s time that the media stop airing Trump’s press briefings because people are going to die believing the misinformation that comes from the podium.
Doctors and nurses are having to reuse masks and wear bandanas over their faces because the new masks that Trump promised haven’t arrived. They are raising money to protect themselves. States, cities and hospitals, doctors, nurses and first responders have been left to fend for themselves.
The federal government isn’t going to help.
The governors of New York and Illinois have ordered residents to not leave their houses. Immigration detainees at the Elizabeth Detention Center in New Jersey are on a hunger strike, calling on ICE to release them due to the dangers of the coronavirus since a member of the medical staff has tested positive. Mar-a-Lago is closed. 67 service members have the coronavirus. There are 1 billion children around the world who are suddenly out of school. Multiple prison guards and detention officials are positive. A record number of people have applied for unemployment. Italians are wrapping the corpses of their family members in blankets and placing them outside for the military to pick up so they can bury them in the clothes they died in. Seattle is building a triage hospital on a soccer field and New York is getting ready to use the dorms of NYU as a hospital because in a few days the hospitals will be overwhelmed. There won’t be enough beds.
1 in 8 Trump followers lives in a county where there aren’t any ICU beds.
The first cases in South Korea and the United States of the coronavirus were reported on the same day, January 20. South Korea took action immediately and has it contained. Trump lied to America and now it’s out of control.
The first death from the coronavirus has happened in Washington DC. Maybe now the Republicans will be scared enough for their own well being to stop following Trump’s lethal lead and march into his bedroom in the White House where he has been self quarantining his lazy fat ass for 3 years and demand that he resign.
