Full Meddle Jacket
Yesterday’s episode of the White House Apprentice was of the Third Lady making a “surprise” unannounced visit to a detention center in Texas to thank law enforcement and social services providers for their hard work. She dropped in on a 55 bed facility that is privately run by a Lutheran agency. There weren’t any young children there so there wasn’t anyone to screw up the shots with screams and pleas. This was a detention center for teens who stayed out of sight. The spokesman for the facility said the kids call it home. No press, just one government sanctioned “reporter” to document the historic moment and control the image and message. Everything was carefully scripted — where she went, who was in the shot, what everybody said, just like reality TV. Melania wore her infamous “Meet the Commoners” white pants and shoes, plus a jacket that read, “I DON’T REALLY CARE, DO U?” scrawled on the back. When confronted about the jacket, her spokesperson said, “It’s just a jacket. There was no hidden message. After today’s important visit to Texas, I hope this isn’t what the media is going to choose to focus on.” That’s exactly what they hoped the media would focus on. If we’re all talking about Melania’s jacket, then we’re not talking about her husband kidnapping and incarcerating children.
Trump took credit for the full meddle jacket. He said she wore it deliberately to convey a message to the fake news. Melania believes the news is fake, too.
Melania has never worn a $39 piece of clothing since she married Twitler. In contrast, she wore a $51,000 designer jacket to her first appearance as FLOTUS in Italy, representing the annual average income of an American family.
Melania didn’t go for any tender PR photos of her holding brown babies like Princess Di. She was wearing white and brown babies might get her clothes dirty. Holding suffering children is not a good loock for the Third Lady.
Melania is happy to report that the kids are all right.
Incarcerated children are getting very sick, and are not being treated. Lice and chicken pox are spreading like wildfire. They’re weak, having been denied a nutritious diet. This is the beginning of one of the greatest humanitarian crises in US history.
Concentration camps and detention centers are being exposed for drugging kids with powerful psychiatric drugs. They tell the kids that they are vitamins, and if they don’t take them, they’ll never see their parents again.
This is why members of congress and the press can’t get into any of these facilities. The Trump administration has a lot to hide. The whole operation is a chaotic, horrific, un-American, torturous mess.

Trump is in full on panic mode, throwing stuff out there without first consulting his staff. He is claiming that the Democrats are responsible for a massive child smuggling industry. He blames “open border Democrats” and Mexico for the whole fiasco. Open border Democrats have done an immigration con job. He claims that “alien minors” are being sent up here with traffickers by the thousands and it’s all the Democrats’ fault. He accused the Democrats of creating a “massive child smuggling industry.” Democrats. Democrats. Democrats. Democrats!
The Pentagon was asked to find 20,000 beds and set up camps on military bases for immigrant CHILDREN.
The Republicans can’t get it together to even look like they have their shit together. Their first immigration bill bombed on the House floor and they’re blowing the second one off until next week.
If we had a functioning Congress, the HHS secretary would be investigating shelters and threatening to cut funding if they didn’t open themselves up to congressional and media scrutiny. We don’t have a functioning congress, though, because the Republicans control it all.
The Republicans are riding on Trump’s coat tails until voters pin the tail on the donkey in November.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Ted Cruz wants the Democrats to tone down their rhetoric on immigration, because it’s not conducive to finding a bipartisan solution.
How could all of this be going on in Texas without Senator Ted Cruz and Governor Greg Abbott’s knowledge?
Melania’s carefully staged “unannounced” trip to the border was nothing more than a thin layer of Trump family bullshit applied to a heaping pile of oh my God how are we going to get out of this coat of many colors shit.
Button up your jackets, Trumps. You’re headed to a detention center of your own.
