The number of cases of the coronavirus has quadrupled from 50 days ago. After Thanksgiving, Christmas will be ruined for everybody because everybody will know someone who is sick due to the many selifsh idiots who insisted on jumping into the covid crockpot thus spreading the virus on Thanksgiving. Thanks a lot, assholes.

13 of the major retailers have seen record profits (increase of 39%) this year — a combined $16.9 billion. The average pay for the front line workers who risked their lives to feed their families, keep society functioning, and insure that their bosses got richer from a global tragedy is not a liveable wage. They only got $1.11 more an hour (a 10% increase) since the Trump Plague began. Fast food workers make minimum wage which is not a sustainable wage. They’re considered essential workers and need to work to survive, but their pay does not reflect the thanks they should get. The rich got richer from the Trump Plague, and the poor got kicked out of their houses. Republicans can’t be bothered with passing any relief to keep people off of the streets. That’s not their problem. As long as the rich are thankful and they continue to hold power, that’s all that matters. Getting kicked to the curb is the thanks essential workers get for keeping America fed during the worst period in American history.
Republicans are the company they keep. Pun intended. Have you thanked a corporation today? No? Good.
People are ignoring CDC guidelines and flying home for Thanksgiving. Airports are packed. Hospitals and morgues will be packed for Christmas because of this uniquely American trait — fuck everybody else, it’s all about ME, thank you very much!!!!! American nature trumps human nature. If a plague can’t convince selfish Americans that we don’t live for ourselves alone, nothing will. When the plague first hit it looked like this might be the thing that transformed American culture from being “ME first” to “WE first” because everyone would learn from personal experience how interdependent we really are and that we really are in this together but Trump and the Republicans emboldened American selfishness and greed by convincing half of America that they were being oppressed. They give thanks for NOTHING because the are entitled to EVERYTHING.
2,000 health care workers have died from taking care of covid patients, many of whom didn’t care enough about them to wear a damn mask. The thanks our doctors and nurses and other health care workers get is more of the same, exhaustion, burn out, sickness, and for some, death.
The election was 3 weeks ago and Trump still hasn’t conceded. He told Emily Murphy to release the funds so Biden can get on with being the next president but he won’t concede that releasing the funds is conceding. Emily Murphy gave Joe Biden the all clear which means Trump changed his mind twice in one day. He had her blow off testifying before Congress earlier in the day and then had her do her job hours later. Nobody had ever heard of Emily Murphy 3 weeks ago. Now she’s one of the most loathed women in America. She has Trump to thank for that.
Little by little Republicans are starting to admit that Joe Biden won. They’re doing a soft shoe while the far right extremists slam dance in the rotunda. They’ll never call Joe Biden “president.” No thanks! We’ll just stay over here and slam dance all over the Constitution.
Extreme far right Republican Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona will never abandon the sinking Trumptanic. He tweeted: The America First agenda is just in its infancy. There are 75 million of us. Also. Did you know some Japanese soldiers kept fighting for decades after the war?
A sitting US congressman sided with the Japanese who surprise bombed us and thrust us into WWII. Paul Gosar is so reprehensible that all 6 of his siblings endorsed his opponent in 2018. They did an ad begging voters not to vote for their lunatic brother. Thanks guys. You tried.
Marco Rubio is the first repug to insult Biden for picking highly educated and qualified people who “went to Ivy League schools and have long resumes” for his administration instead of family, criminals, and people with no experience like Trump did. Repugs have to be careful not to let on that they’re all highly educated snobs with long, ambitious resumes or else the idiot MAGAs won’t vote for them. Trumpism will live on long after Trump is gone. Republicans are scared of MAGAs thanks to their power at any cost strategy.
To thank Joe Biden for stepping up to volunteer to clean up Trump’s mess and save democracy, Trump left the Open Skies treaty where 34 countries have agreed to use open inspections of one another to deter war by having the 2 specially equipped OC-135B aircraft used for this purpose destroyed.
