Trump has finally been indicted on four counts for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. 6 unnamed co-conspirators (4 attorneys, political consultant, and a DOJ official). The counts are conspircay to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official hearing, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

This is Trump’s third indictment, but the first for things he did while president.

Trump’s 2024 calendar is already booked up with court dates. There are so many that he’s made history for the most court dates in one year for one person, let alone a former president. The court dates will only increase with more indictments which means he’ll beat his own historical record. He’s not going to have any time to actually campaign. He’ll just hold MAGA rallies where he can rehash old resentments and whip his rabid cult followers into a violent frenzy so they can chant, “Lock her up!”

Trump’s political action committee, the Save America PAC, which once had as much as $105 million, is now down to $4 million after paying legal fees for Trump and his co-conspirators. He pays their lawyer fees so he can pick their lawyer and control what kind of defense they get (one which will help him). His idiot followers are paying for criminal defense attorneys every time they send him money. His slush fund, the super PAC called Make America Great Again Inc, is controlled by Trump because it’s not a campaign fund. He has been moving money back and forth from both PACs to pay for different kinds of bills. There are strict laws about how much can be taken in and what can be spent with a regular PAC. Super PACs can raise unlimited money (one of the donations his super PAC received was $1 million from Jared’s dad, Charles Kushner, whom Trump pardoned for federal crimes), while regular PACs have $5,000 donation limits.

Trump “employee 4” has flipped on Trump after getting a target letter. He’s talking to the feds. He won’t be accepting a complimentary defense attorney from Trump.

In other news, Trump’s competition in the dictator race, Ron DeSantis, could be facing federal indictment soon himself. The Massachusetts district attorney investigating him for kidnapping migrants and flying them to Martha’s Vineyard in September of 2022 has invited the feds to investigate, supporting law enforcement in California and Texas calling for a federal investigation. The FBI is being called upon to investigate the governor of Florida for human trafficking. If indicted, the two top candidates will be the first candidates to run for president while under arrest for federal crimes.

The Republican party is morally bankrupt.

The Republican Party of Colorado is bankrupt, the Minnesota GOP has $60 and owes $330,000. The Michigan GOP is broke plus 16 of them were indicted for posing as fake electors. The Georgia GOP spent over $500,000 on fake electors legal fees. We’ll find out any day now which ones will get indicted.

The sheriff in Fulton County says they’re ready for Trump if he is indicted. He’ll be treated like any other criminal — fingerprinted, booked and a mug shot taken.

“What kind of shithole country allows a confessed insurrectionist and classified document thief to jet around the country and whip his dimwit worshipers into a violent frenzy. Lock. Him. The. Fuck. Up” — Jeff Tiedrich

Lock him up. See, pronouns do matter.

Happy Indictment Day!
