As easily predicted, Trump is getting indicted again. He posted on Truth Social that he has been notified by special counsel Jack Smith that he’s a criminal target of the ongoing investigation into his effort to subvert the 2020 election. He has 4 days to report to the grand jury.
The Georgia Supreme Court unanimously denied Trump’s motion to toss out Fani Willis’ case against him. There will be no Mutiny on the County.
The Republicans are no longer pretending like they’re not fascists. They have flat out admitted that they have a plan and that is to do away with democracy and give all governing power to the next Republican president, preferably Trump. They call their plan Project 2025. They plan on taking power away from Congress so that only the president is in charge. No more checks and balances. They plan on giving the president control of the Justice Department. It will no longer operate independently. The president will control all business, too. The Heritage Foundation is behind this and has been working on it for a long time. They’re pissed that liberals started the country and they’re going to fix it. They want Trump to win so they can do what they did before — tell him what to do so they can run the country.
The Tennessee attorney general has taken possession of the medical records of trans people without their knowledge or consent. Women who have gone out of state for abortions are next. Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi will follow and 14 other red states want to join too. These states are taking the right to make medical decisions about their own bodies away from people. The government has decided that your body is theirs and citizens have no rights over their own medical decisions.
CNBC released its top 10 worst states to live in — all red states. They all have high crime rates, shitty health care, loose voting rights, are hostile to LGBTQs, and are anti abortion:

Donald Dillbeck, convicted killer and death row inmate in Florida, used his final words to call Governor Ron DeSantis out for being a worse criminal than him. “I know I hurt people when I was young. I really messed up, but I know Ron DeSantis has done a lot worse. He’s taken a lot from a lot of people. I speak for all men, women, and children. He’s put his foot on our necks.”
DeSantis wants to start his own militia group that answers only to him.
Border security officers in Texas have been instructed by Governor Greg Abbott to push small children and nursing babies back into the Rio Grande and not to give water to asylum seekers even in extreme heat.
Justice Samuel Alito’s wife leased land to an oil and gas firm while her husband was hearing cases involving the fossil fuel industry.He penned the majority decision for Sackett v. EPA, a decision which drastically scaled back the Clean Water Act. In the years after the undisclosed trip to Alaska, Republican megadonor Paul Singer’s hedge fund has repeatedly had business before the Supreme Court and Alito has never recused himself. Now he’s out there whining about being unfairly judged and attacked by the public. It’s unfair! Nobody is defending us!
Ron DeSantis said that if he wins the presidency he’ll pick justices for the Supreme Court that would be just as hard core as Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
Jesse Watters, new prime time host for Fox News, got a call from his mom while he was line on the air on his first night hosting in Tucker’s time slot. She’s a Democrat and asked him not to indulge in conspiracy theories or attack Joe Biden. Also, Hunter’s laptop has gotten old.
At Turning Point over the weekend, Marjorie Taylor Greene showed how stupid she is, once again, by saying in her speech that Joe Biden is trying to “finish what FDR started” by trying to address problems related to rural poverty, education, and medical care, as if that was the worst thing he could do. She blasted him for trying to do something like Lyndon B. Johnson did when he passed Medicare and Medicaid. The White House responded by saying, “Caught us. President Biden is working to make life easier for hardworking families.” Biden should use her speech as an endorsement and make a campaign ad out of it.
When asked to comment on Trump getting indicted for the third time, Marjorie Taylor Greene said, “It’s absolute bullshit. If this is the direction America is going in we are worse than Russia. We are worse than China.” She tweeted, “Jack Smith has weaponized the federal government against President Trump in a complete lie about January 6 to cover up the crimes of Joe & Hunter Biden and their entire criminal family. The Democrats want to arrest every one of their political opponents.”
