25 people showed up for Trump at his trial yesterday — no friends because he doesn’t have any and his family hates him. 11 of them were MAGA members of Congress who did a bizarre press conference outside. When it was over, Lauren Boebert stayed behind to rant about the injustice of the trial. Somebody handed her a Beetlejuice program and asked her to sign it while the crowd chanted, “Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!” (Beetlejuice was the musical she got kicked out of in September for vaping, heckling, and giving her boyfriend a hand job.)

After MAGA Republican Andy Ogles returned to DC after surrogating for Trump in New York, he announced he was going to introduce the “Let Trump Speak Act” to lift the gag order on Trump.

The House Oversight Committee met in the evening to accommodate the surrogates’ trek to New York. They met to decide whether or not to hold Merrick Garland in meaningless contempt. Marjorie Taylor Greene asked if any Democrats in the room hired Judge Merchan’s daughter, then took a shot at Jasmine Crockett’s eyelashes (Marjorie said they were messing up her reading). When AOC moved to have that comment stricken from the record Marjorie refused to apologize and told AOC that she was “not intelligent.” The bickering continued then Democrat Jasmine Crockett asked for clarification. Since the Republicans made it OK to hurl personal insults because Trump does it, she wanted to know if it was OK if she could say “bleach blonde, bad built, butch body.”

Speaker Mike Johnson and the North Carolina delegation unveiled a statue of the late Reverend Billy Graham in the US Capitol. Bible verses are written at the base of the statue. The side displays John 3:16 for all visitors to see during tours of the US Capitol. Senator Thom Tillis and former VP Mike Pence were also there. Mike Johnson said he looked forward to kids passing by it on field trips.

Speaking of Mike Johnson, Jamie Raskin said of him, “Never before have we had the Speaker of the US House of Representatives travel to a criminal trial in order to vouch for, in this case an adjudicated rapist, someone who has been civilly convicted of fraud in hundreds of millions of dollars against one of our sovereign states, the state of New York. And he goes to that trial to speak for the criminal defendant who is defending himself against charges of having cooked the books in order to cover hush money payments to a porn star which is just unbelievable for any Speaker to do much less a Speaker who says the Bible is the law of the land.”

Justice Alito has been outed for letting his freak flag fly. After January 6, he flew the flag upside down at his house, a MAGA symbol for the insurrection. Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin has called on Alito to recuse himself from all cases involving the 2020 election. He said, “Flying an upside down American flag, a symbol of the so-called ‘Stop the Steal’ movement, clearly creates the appearance of bias…….The Court is in an ethical crisis of its own making, and Justice Alito and the rest of the Court should be doing everything in their power to regain public trust.”

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is mad at his critics and said so during a judicial conference in Alabama. He lamented the “nastiness” and “lies” directed at him and called DC a “hideous place.” He should recuse himself from any cases having to do with the insurrection too because his wife was in on it but like Alito, he won’t, because the Supreme Court answers to nobody and plays by its own rules. The majority of this court is outright corrupt, pro-MAGA, and anti-democracy.

Today is the 70th anniversary of Brown v Board of Education. Watch the Supreme Court reverse it today like it did Roe v Wade so white kids can resume their place at the head of the (white) class, as per their superior birth right.

Former Trump lawyer John Eastman was arrested, booked and arraigned in Arizona for participating in a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results in Arizona. This is his second Trump related mug shot.

A federal judge sentenced David DePape, the man convicted of breaking into Nancy Pelosi’s house and kidnapping and attacking her husband, Paul, to 30 years in prison.

No court today because of Barron’s graduation. Trump did go, made a fool of himself, and zoomed off to Minnesota to make a fool of himself at a big donor fundraiser.
