History in the Making

He’s hiding somewhere in the White House tweeting MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN as more fencing goes up around the White House. He’s building a wall around himself to keep citizens out. Trump is calling protestors killers, terrorists, arsonists, anarchists, thugs, hoodlums, and looters on Twitter. Trump is the first world leader to fence himself in and lash out and govern from within, via Twitter. This is historic.

The Attorney General of Minnesota has upgraded the murder charge to 2nd degree murder for the cop who killed George Floyd with his knee and charged the other 3 cops who helped with aiding and abetting murder. This is historic. Cops usually kill black people and never face charges. This would never have happened if people hadn’t taken to the streets to demand it.

They’re protesting up in Idaho. IDAHO — the whitest state in the country, famous for its habitat for skin heads. Crowds of nothing but white people marching for black lives matter. That’s historic.

Tom Cotton, sitting US senator and veteran, wrote a disgusting op-ed in the New York Times saying bring it on — send in the troops. This pissed a lot of people off, including another sitting US senator and veteran, Tammy Duckworth, who called him out and all service members, officers and generals who are going along with Trump’s use of the military to silence the first amendment and terrorize citizens. She called them all “lap dogs” and demanded that they defy Trump’s illegal orders. Yowza. That’s historic.

It took long enough, but former Defense Secretary General Mattis has finally called Trump and top military leaders out for abusing their power, making a mockery of the Constitution, and violating the Constitutional rights of American citizens. “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership.” That is Historic with a capital H. Unpresidented.

Mattis pissed Trump off. Trump said the only thing he has in common with Barack Obama is having the honor of firing Jim Mattis. He tweeted: Probably the only thing Barack Obama & I have in common is that we both had the honor of firing Jim Mattis, the world’s most overrated General. I asked for his letter of resignation, & felt great about it. His nickname was “Chaos”, which I didn’t like, & changed to “Mad Dog”.

Trump insulting a former US general and president is not historic. He does it all the time.

CNN’s Jim Acosta asked Trump’s ding bat press secretary, “If the White House…had to do it all over again, would you have gassed and pummeled protesters to clear the park so the president could have a photo op?” Trump’s ding bat answered, “No tear gas was used and no rubber bullets were used.” Um, it’s all on video and the people who got shot have the bruises and scabs to prove it. Telling people they didn’t see and hear what they just saw and heard was only historic the first couple of times they did it. Now it’s standard.

Trump’s ding bat compared Trump’s backfired media stunt of him going to the burned church to Winston Churchill inspecting bombing damage during WWII or George W. Bush throwing out the first pitch after 9/11. 2 were historical. The first one will be the dustbin of history.

The US has been added to the list of most dangerous countries for journalists for the first time. That’s one for the history books.

The Republican led Senate is sending out 53 subpoenas to Obama officials to confuse the public and smear Joe Biden with a conspiracy theory that they hope will mark him with criminal conduct. That’s not historical. It’s Republican Playbook 101. It’s what they do.

The anti-Christ dragged Melania to another church for a photo op that ended up looking like the end of a really scary horror movie, which pissed more people of faith off. He made history again for desecrating another holy site for his Reality TV show.

Trump gave Sean Spicer a softball interview so Sean could help him refine his law and order brand. Sean asked him if he prayed, if he’s grown in his faith, and what religion meant to him. Trump replied, “So I think maybe I have, from the standpoint that I see so much that I can do. I’ve done so much for religion.” Republicans using Christianity to advance their own agenda and careers is nothing historic, but the devil himself doing it is.

1.9 million more people applied for unemployment. New count is 42.6 million unemployed Americans. Another historic broken record for the Trump Era.

Trump is going down in history. Going down.
