Huh
Lara Trump is in charge of the RNC now and has begun the process of replacing 60 fired staffers with Trump loyalists. She kicked everybody out who isn’t MAGA, pledged to pay Trump’s legal fees, and eliminated the minority outreach program. Huh.
The woman who MAGA senator Katie Britt exploited and lied about during her response to the State of the Union speech decided to comment on what she did. Karla Jacinto is a sex trafficking survivor who was sexually exploited from the age of five and prostituted from ages 12 to 16. She was forced to service 30–40 men each day, a total of about 42,200 times. She is 24 now and is a global role model — an outspoken, successful, international activist. She says Katie Britt used her story for distorted political purposes. “I hardly ever cooperate with politicians, because it seems to me that they only want an image. They only want a photo — and that to me is not fair.” Now Katie Britt is saying the “radical left” is persecuting her and is fundraising off of what she did. Huh.
Karla Jacinto told CNN, “I think she should first take into account what really happens before telling a story of that magnitude.” A female Republican politician using the violent, years long rape of a little girl to advance herself politically is about as low as a woman can go and she went there. She did it. Huh.
Congress has been in a big hurry to ban TikTok. Trump tried to ban it once because people were making fun of him over there. Now he’s all in. He’s a big TikTok fan. What happened? A megadonor with financial interest in TikTok paid him a visit at Mar-a-Lago. Congress says its banning TikTok for national security reasons. China is spying on us via TikTok. If Trump took a bribe to keep TikTok going if he’s elected president and TikTok is tied to the Chinese government, then that means Trump sold himself and us out to China. Huh.
The House of Representatives, which is neutered legislatively, just banned TikTok. That was fast. Huh.
Republican Ken Buck surprised both the Speaker of the House and the House Majority Leader by announcing he is leaving Congress next week. He can’t take it anymore. Now Lauren Boebert can’t run for his seat in a special election unless she resigns her current seat. Huh.
Robert Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden for having classified documents in his garage, was questioned before the House Judiciary Committee yesterday and as expected, it backfired on the Republicans. As much as Comer and Jordan coached him, he couldn’t outsmart the smart people on the committee (the Democrats). He was asked if Biden did anything Trump did with the documents. Uh, uh, uh.
Jerry Nadler contrasted Trump and Biden’s handling of classified documents by saying, “The reason why President Biden is not facing a single charge is not because you went easy on him, but because after reviewing 7 million documents, and interviewing nearly 150 witnesses including the president himself, you could not prove that he had committed a crime.” Uh, uh, uh.
Adam Schiff called Robert Hur out for misleading the media with his executive summary knowing it would be used for headlines even though his report contradicted his summary. He put him on the spot for calling into question President Biden’s memory. He said he did it to “ignite a political firestorm with that language.” He couldn’t hurt him criminally so he hurt him politically. Uh, uh, uh.
The Republicans went after Biden again and blew it again. Huh.
Biden outshined them all (again) after the report was made public and everybody found out his memory is more than fine. When he was shown old photographs and asked to comment he said, “You can tell it’s old. I have my arm around Lindsey Graham.” After federal prosecutors searched his house he told them, “I just hope you didn’t find any risqué pictures of my wife in a bathing suit. Which you probably did. She’s beautiful.”
Biden wins. Again.
Huh.
