100 agents from 9 different federal law enforcement agencies invaded MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, an old city park that sits right in the middle of a neighborhood that has been home to immigrants for generations. They paraded through the streets of LA in heavily armed military vehicles to freak everybody out first. Fortunately, the summer day camp kids were whisked out of the way in time but they still saw the cops on horseback and some walking in formation with long guns. There was hardly anybody in the park except the camp kids. They didn’t capture anybody. They did it for optics. It was all for show. Trump wanted photos of the occupation for his dictator’s scrapbook and video for the B roll for the movie he’s directing while he acts out his sadistic fantasies sitting on his ass in the White House.
Mayor Karen Bass heard about it right away and hauled ass over to the park to confront them. She told them to get out. Border Chief Gregory Bovino said, “I don’t work for Karen Bass. Better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want in Los Angeles.” Then the next thing anybody knew they were all gone. This was an intimidation tactic on the part of the federal government toward the City of Los Angeles and the State of California. LA is the canary in the coal mine. Coming soon to another city near you — fascism and terror in the streets.
U.S. Senator Tubby the Tuba Tommy Tuberville has called for Mayor Karen Bass to be arrested, a move which a Department of Homeland Security officials says is “on the table.”

With all the money for ICE has to spend now, it’s inevitable that we’ll all know someone working for ICE. Don’t get used to it.
Trump ran on ridding the country of illegal immigrants with criminal records. So far, the only people they have picked up are people working their day jobs at car washes, farm fields, construction sites, etc., and folks lawfully showing up for their immigration court appearances. It’s entrapment on top of everything else. Nearly all of them have no criminal records and the ones who do were minor offenses.
Employers who hire undocumented workers haven’t been touched. ICE gives them a pass.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said that those who are getting Medicaid taken away from them because they’re freeloading bums, will find work now in the fields so they can afford to pay for their own health care. This is not only outrageous and cruel, it’s wrong. Even if everybody who is unemployed and receiving Medicaid gets a job harvesting strawberries, there is no such thing as a company health care plan because field workers are exploited for profit. They barely make enough to survive but they don’t complain because they’re grateful for any work and they are working illegally so they don’t dare speak up. They’ll be uninsured one way or the other.
MAGAs are mad at people on SNAP and Medicaid but not the boss man employers that don’t pay their workers a living wage or offer insurance.
“There will be no amnesty,” AG Secretary Brooke Rollins said.
Because of the cuts to Medicaid anybody on Obamacare insurance can expect to pay double or triple their premium starting in January.
