Idiots
At an event billed as a conversation on the future of the two-party political system in the United States, Liz Cheney, one of only two Republicans who had the guts to stand up to Trump (which ultimately cost her job) said, “What we’ve done in our politics is create a situation where we’re electing idiots.” She said Trump is unfit for office and that her number one priority is making sure he’s not elected a second time. She also said we need to elect serious people who aren’t partisan. When asked if she’d run for president she said there’s no way she’d do anything that would help Trump so no.
One thing that isn’t being talked about enough is Trump stored hundreds of boxes of papers but the guy doesn’t read. He’s an idiot and only idiots would vote for him.
One such idiot that would vote for Trump said at one of his MAGA rallies that she was a South African MAGA Preacher and that God sent Trump to her in a dream and told her to come to America to help him because Heaven is backing him and he is a modern day Cyrus sent by God to save the world.
Many of the papers Trump didn’t end up taking don’t exist anymore because they were either burned, flushed, sold, eaten, put on a secret server, or defaced with a sharpie. Not a single Republican called Trump out for destroying government documents because they’re either criminals or idiots.
Republicans in Missouri voted to defund all public libraries.
Republican state rep in South Dakota, Joe Donnell, said on a radio show that Mount Rushmore is a “demonic portal” spreading “communism” across the country. “That witchcraft altar… I kinda got the feeling that what we’re really dealing with in that portal was communism.” Who voted for that guy?
So how is it that just enough idiots show up to vote for Republicans on election day? Because they watch Fox News and only Fox News. Fox tells them they’re the smartest people in the world so they’ll believe everything that Fox tells them and vote the way they’re told. They romanticize being dumb and under educated. They make their viewers feel superior for being intellectually inferior. Fox News host Jesse Watters said, “The more education you have, the more likely you are to vote for a Democrat.” He’s right. The more educated you are, the less likely you’ll vote for Republicans or watch Fox News.
Marjorie Taylor Greene told the US Attorney for the District of Columbia that she was going to impeach him because the crime rate is rising in DC. She’s such an idiot she thinks a US attorney is responsible for prosecuting car break ins, shop lifters and robberies.
Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert make fools of themselves every time they speak in committee hearings or to the press. There is nobody on staff or in their caucus telling them to shut up. The press never pushes back on them. They never ask them to define any of the words they use. If they did, perhaps they wouldn’t be so foolish as to use words like republic, socialism and communism.
Marjorie Taylor Greene made a video from inside the Capitol and said, “This is a communist country. We’ve been taken over. We’re not a free country anymore.” A sitting member of Congress called our country communist from inside the Capitol, on camera. She may be an idiot, but she’s a dangerous idiot. She’s got a following and she wants to be Trump’s vice president.
The fight on the right is not about saving democracy, Trump possibly selling our nation’s top secrets, or the rule of law applying to a former president. It’s about transgender rights, gas stoves, and banning books. There are no longer any serious Republican members left in Congress. The ones who are always blabbing are idiots and the ones who never say anything are sell outs.
We’re in serious danger because a third of the country are hopeless idiots who vote, a third are actively engaged and committed to the preservation of democracy and another third doesn’t give a shit.
