The vote to re-nominate an illegitimate president will be conducted in private later this month. The media is not invited. This is unpresidented. Why? Are they afraid of an embarrassing low turnout with dissenters or is there something illegitimate going on that they want to hide from the public?
Trump is already spinning the November election as illegitimate — “This is going to be the greatest election disaster in history.”
No mail in voting! Delay the election!
Mega MAGA and co-founder of the Federalist Society, Steven Calabresi, a hard core libertarian who voted for Trump and opposed the Mueller probe and impeachment because it was illegitimate, is now saying that Trump wanting to delay the election is grounds for impeachment.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Steve Mnuchin and the Republicans don’t want to give unemployed people $600 a week during the worst public health crisis in a century because they don’t want to incentivize people to sit around and make money while not working. That’s not how capitalism works, we’re supposed to sit around and money while YOU work.
Super Rich Senator Ron Johnson told reporters, “Why do our Democrat colleagues want to propose continuing $600 per week? That is preventing people, incentivizing people not to reengage in the economy so our economy can recover. It makes no sense.” By making sure that people have money to survive the Trump Depression, that will not only allow tax payers to stay in their homes and not starve, but it will give them money to spend in order to keep the economy going. Republicans aren’t interested in our survival. According to GOP values, an individual’s only value, if you are not rich like them, is the extent to which you can be worked, for the profit of them or someone else who IS rich. Getting rich off of the labors of others is legitimate. Taxpayers using tax payer money in order to literally survive is not legitimate. It’s your own damn fault that you’re not rich like us.
Trump is blaming the cut throat cut off on Democrats. He tweeted: Very disappointed in Chuck Schumer for blocking the temporary extension of the $600 unemployment benefits. The Do Nothing Democrats are more interested in playing politics than in helping our deserving people. DRAIN THE SWAMP ON NOVEMBER 3RD!
Trump wiped out 5 years of GDP growth and still the Republicans stick with him as if he was a legitimate president.
Rent was due yesterday and 43% of renters in Lindsey Graham’s state, South Carolina, are at risk of being evicted.
Mike Pence and Betsy DeVos visited an open elementary school in North Carolina for a photo op and didn’t wear masks.
Louisiana Republican US Senator John Kennedy told teachers and unions who are opposed to schools opening to kiss his ass.
Barron Trump’s hoity toity private school won’t be open for in person learning until October but his dad, Mike Pence and Betsy DeVos are pushing for public schools to open.
Congressman Raul Grijalva has tested positive for the coronavirus and is pissed that “certain people” haven’t been wearing masks on Capitol Hill.
Kodak Moment: The US government is loaning Eastman Kodak $765 million to go from being a camera and photographic film maker to developing a vaccine for the Trump Plague. Shares in Kodak tripled after the announcement. They got the deal on an “understanding” with Trump and immediately granted its executive chairman Jim Continenza options for 1.75 million shares based on that “understanding” that wasn’t made public. Within a couple of days, those additional options made Jim Continenza tens of millions dollars richer. Illegitimate instant wealth that none of us are privy too.
Republicans say that $600 a week is not a legitimate way to earn a living. It’s your own damn fault if you’re not the CEO of Kodak.
“Over Donald’s lifetime, as his failures mounted despite my grandfather’s repeated — and extravagant — interventions, his struggle for legitimacy, which could never be won, turned into a scheme to make sure nobody found out that he’s never been legitimate at all. This has never been more true than it is now, and it is exactly the conundrum our country finds itself in: the government as it is currently constituted, including the executive branch, half of Congress, and the majority of the Supreme court, is entirely in the service of protecting Donald’s ego; that has become almost its entire purpose.” — Mary L.
