It’s the Economy. Stupid.
We’ve surpassed the number of Americans who died in Vietnam over a 10 year period. The Trump Plague has killed that many American in less than 2 months. Trump rarely mentions the dead because he doesn’t care. He’s focused on the economy.
1 million are known to be infected. If everybody got tested, that number would be much, much higher. That many tests wouldn’t be economical though. Why spend that much money on tests when that would make Trump look bad?
Trump is pulling another quid pro quo on his own country. He’s telling blue states that they will get federal aid only if they end their sanctuary city policies and turn residents over to ICE.
Trump is using the American people’s tax dollars to force states into changing policies he doesn’t like.
When asked about whether or not he has spent any time with grieving families who lost loved ones to the coronavirus, Trump rambled on and on about everything but grieving families. It’s the economy, stupid.
Trump signed an executive order to force workers to get back to work at meat packing plants even though their jobs are making them sick and killing them. Why? a) Trump has to have his hamberders and steak every day b) he’s afraid people will become vegetarians by external circumstances and realize those liberals were right, not eating meat is better for you, or c) a high percentage of workers are immigrants so he can kill them by exposing them to a deadly virus while protecting employers from any liability. Great way to knock off a bunch of immigrants without actually shooting them on Fifth Avenue even though immigrants don’t hang out on Fifth Avenue. They’re too busy working and taking care of their families.
Republican governor of Iowa, Kim Reynolds, said GET BACK TO WORK, QUITTERS! If meat plant workers refuse to comply they will be considered a “voluntary quit” and unemployment won’t apply to them.
The Center of Disease Control (CDC) is scared of Trump. It’s going easy on meat packing plants, making loose suggestions instead of hard and fast demands for violations or else, as usual.
Trump hates immigrants and if you’re married to one he hates you too. He wants to block anyone married to an immigrant from getting their lousy $1200.
Americans are receiving letters signed by Trump explaining the stimulus checks and bragging about his response to the coronavirus. These are nothing more than campaign mailers at government expense.
Big day yesterday for Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis. He got to sit next to his idol, Trump, and be on TV! And then Sean Hannity invited him on his show where they joked about keeping New Yorkers out of Florida so they won’t spread the virus or “bring their dumb politics with them.” Ron got to be on TV twice in one day! TV! TV! TV!
Mike Pence, the leader of the White House coronavirus response task force, toured the Mayo Clinic while not wearing a mask even though it was policy and he had been asked to in advance. The Mayo Clinic tweeted that he was asked to wear a mask and didn’t but then they deleted it because someone from the Trump administration probably advised them that that wasn’t economical.
Why didn’t Pence wear a mask? a) Trump told him not to because it makes him look weak b) he didn’t want to mess up Mother’s home haircut c) Jesus loves him more than anybody at the Mayo Clinic and will therefore protect him from catching or passing on anything IN A HOSPITAL.
Send Mike Pence to tour a meat packing plant without a mask.
The Pentagon released 3 videos of UFOs taken by Navy pilots and it barely made news because life on earth is freakier than aliens visiting us from outer space.
The US economy shrank by -4.8% for the first quarter in 2020, the biggest decline since the Great Recession in 2008. The second quarter is expected to be -35%. That explains the Republican push to open businesses. Trump is worried about his great economy which he has always claimed as his creation. How is he going to spin a depression? He inherited it?
Jared went on Fox and Friends this morning and said that the states have way more tests than they need so it’s time for the country to re-open.
