The Select Committee voted unanimously last night to hold Mark Meadows in contempt of Congress for blowing off his hearing.
During a Select Committee hearing yesterday, co-chair Liz Cheney read some of the texts that Fox News journalists and Junior sent Mark Meadows while the attack on the Capitol was going on and a clip of it was released to the media. Texts revealed that Fox News personalities were in on it but panicked when things got out of control. Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Brian Kilmeade texted Mark Meadows to beg him to get Trump to call the mob off. When they went on the air to do their shows they downplayed the event and told their audience that Antifa did it. Members of Congress were texting him too but no names have been divulged yet. One of them texted Meadows the next day to say that he was sorry that nothing they tried worked out. Watch the Republicans today. Anybody that shrugs the news off or defends Mark Meadows in any way was probably one of the lawmakers that was in on the insurrection. This is a crime. Repeat: Members of Congress helped with the insurrection. The Select Committee knows who they are (REPUBLICANS) but won’t release their names publicly yet but they will.
One communication from Mark Meadows said that the National Guard would be called in to protect the insurrectionists, not the cops or members of Congress.
Liz Cheney also said that Mark Meadows’ texts leave “no doubt” that the White House knew what was happening at the Capitol. This is a crime.
Mark Meadows thinks he can claim executive privilege because he was Trump’s official right hand man, serving as his royal mobster butt wiper and chief of staff. The guy isn’t too bright. He can’t claim executive privilege because 1) The president, JOE BIDEN, said he’s free to testify, 2) executive privilege is designed to protect work related communications and information, not an actual coup, 3) the idiot wrote a book about his time in the White House, 4) he went on Fox News and blabbed about stuff he shouldn’t be blabbing about, and 5) he’s already given the Select Committee 6,000 pages of documents. Like everybody in Trump’s orbit, Mark Meadows is a boob.
More boobs are in line to claim executive privilege. They view it more as a wet t-shirt contest than a crime against the United States.

Fox News hasn’t reported on yesterday’s bombshell news because RINO Liz Cheney reading Fox News show hosts’ texts out loud isn’t good for their grift. They have not only withheld this breaking news from their audience, but they haven’t mentioned the step by step PowerPoint insurrection plan either. Fox News viewers have no idea. They just tune in for the Windex soaked t-shirts.
The Select Committee has interviewed 300 people behind closed doors. They are crossing every T and dotting every I so they can put it all together in a comprehensive, concise, and conclusive way so that they can start holding public meetings to make the country aware of what actually happened. They’re going to do it in such a way that things aren’t released in a haphazard fashion because they want this information released with the country’s undivided attention. Since Fox won’t air these public hearings, family members of the Fox cult have a duty to make sure their loved ones see them somehow. Maybe some of them will leave the cult, which will be a great benefit to families, but it will also help bring Fox News down. They can’t do what they do without an audience.
The Republican propaganda channel Fox News bears some responsibility for what happened at the Capitol on January 6.
Time will tell if the mainstream media will do more than give up time to air the Select Committee’s public meetings. Will they follow up with thoughtful, in depth analysis or will they take the chicken shit, easy way out and do the both sides thing? Will they all stick with the same lame talking points or will they do their duty and drill down further to better educate the public? Who knows. They’re very preoccupied with reporting on the Democrats being in disarray, Biden’s poll numbers, and the vice president’s purchase of expensive cookware these days so plan on keeping CSPAN on all day. The Select Committee says these hearings should start within then next 3 months.
In other news, it was 9 years ago today that a deranged white 20 year male old shot through a window at his old elementary school to gain entrance so he could shoot and kill 20 six year old little kids in their classroom plus 6 adults, using one of the dozens of weapons his mom kept around the house (after shooting and killing her with one of her guns.) Things have only gotten worse because REPUBLICANS.
