Monday was Presidents’ Day. Protesters showed up at state capitals and town councils in all 50 states to protest Trump.
Trump didn’t remove Presidents Day from the master calendar like he did Juneteenth and other “woke” holidays because in his mind it’s a day to worship him, the one true king.
Trump shared on Truth Social and the White House posted on their official social media accounts a fake TIME magazine cover with Trump crowned king. This image went all around the world which struck fear in serious minded world leaders who are just as terrified of Trump’s second presidency as rational Americans are. He’s loathed around the globe and a king of America is a very, very scary prospect.
This week, approximately 200,000 federal workers were let go.
As DOGE sets fire to departments and fires people to save money, Trump blew through $10 million playing golf the first 3 weeks of his presidency.
The top official at the Social Security Administration was forced out after a clash with DOGE employees over access to sensitive personal records. The I.T. guy took over. Everybody who is on social security should be very nervous. Monthly payments aren’t guaranteed.
The Medicaid payment system was down in all 50 states which created a big mess. Steve Bannon warned Trump that lots of MAGAs are on Medicaid.
MAGAs hear in the right wing media silo that Trump is giving them all $8,000 stimulus checks with all the money he is saving by firing federal workers.
Trump is firing all of remaining U.S. attorneys from the Biden era.
Trump fired a group of workers in the nuclear arms agency and then realized oops, these guys are important and then frantically tried to rehire. He’s just chopping people left and right and doesn’t have a clear, precise plan. He’s just FIRING people. The “You’re fired” reality TV star is on brand and having a blast being king and ruining people’s lives.
Trump fired people working on the bird flu and now he’s trying to hire them back.
California fire captain Rebecca Marodi, who was targeted by right-wing hate groups as supposedly being a “DEI hire” and therefore blamed for the LA fires, was found stabbed to death in her home.
Mitch McConnell won’t seek reelection in 2026. He’s too old and irrelevant but his evil mark will be felt for decades. Before there was trump, there was McConnell. He helped Trump rise and should never be forgiven. If there is a God, this guy should go to the front of the line for hell when his number is up.
Trump accidentally admitted on Fox that inflation is getting worse.
Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe got himself arrested, handcuffed and dragged from the city council chambers in Huntington Beach, California after he called the city council out for proclaiming Huntington Beach a “MAGA district.” He called them out during public comment reading through a list of all the horrible things MAGA stands for before getting arrested.
Colombia has entered the trade war. After being charged 25% for tariffs they turned around and said the U.S. would have to pay 50%
Trump said Zelensky should have never started that war with Russia.
Hundreds of asylum seekers were deported from the U.S. to Panama and locked in a hotel without access to lawyers, or their own passports.
Panama fun fact: There is a Trump Tower that has been standing empty in Panama for YEARS. Lots of people say that it’s being used for crime.
