There is a small provision in Trump’s big beautiful bill that is losing potential support in the Senate by the day. This little provision has nothing to do with the budget. It’s just something that they squeezed in that would make it impossible for people to sue Trump because they’d have to post a bond first. The only people who can afford to play that way are rich people and mega corporations and they’re already in bed with Trump. This provision would keep everybody else from suing Trump.

In Virginia Trump pardoned a MAGA sheriff before he had to go to jail for 10 year for selling badges and deputizing people for bribes. The daughter of Julie and Todd Chrisley, the reality TV couple who spent time in jail for bank fraud, asked Trump to pardon her folks and he did it because she was a top surrogate for his campaign.
