Lock Him Up
The Whistleblower’s complaint was declassified last night and published this morning, hours before the acting DNI Joe Maguire was scheduled to appear in open session before Congress so members of the House Intelligence Committee could ask him why he would take a whistleblower complaint that implicates Bill Barr to Bill Barr and show it to the White House when the White House is implicated too. Democrats were shocked, Republicans said there was no there there.
The whistleblower’s complaint mentions a pattern of funny business at the White House, where Trump’s communications with foreign officials are being saved on a SECRET SERVER. A bunch of people in the White House are in on this cover up. So is the attorney general, Bill Barr. They’re all involved in a conspiracy to destroy a presidential election and have been in on it for 4 months.
What else is on that secret server?
Trump told the president of Ukraine, “…..whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great.”
Trump first spoke to the president of Ukraine on April 21, 10 days before Bill Barr wouldn’t answer Kamala Harris’ question under oath about if anyone in the White House had ever asked him to open an investigation on anybody.
Bill Barr’s son in law has been one of Trump’s legal advisors this whole time.
Rudy Giuliani is mentioned over 30 times in the whistleblower’s report. Rudy says he was asked to go to the Ukraine by the State Department (he’s mad because he thinks he’s the hero, not the whistleblower.) If true, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is implicated in this too.
Joe Maguire is a retired 3 star Navy Seal admiral who never wanted or expected to be the head of DNI. Today is his 42nd day on the job. The whistleblower’s complaint was made a couple of days before he started. He saw the complaint as something that fell outside of the intelligence community’s whistleblower statute so he consulted with the Justice Department and White House who both said, nah, no need to tell Congress even though that’s what your supposed to do so he didn’t and now he’s in the hot seat. He really blew it. He broke the law. House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff ran a productive meeting. The Republicans blathered on and on about the Democrats setting Trump up which was no surprise. That’s what they always do. Devin Nunes accused the Democrats of trying to obtain naked pictures of Trump. The bottom line is Joe Maguire is in way over his head and curses the day he ever let himself get roped into Trump’s evil orbit.
As expected, Trump went nuts. He had a fit and told staffers that whoever gave info to the whistleblower is going to pay. He accused whistleblowers of being spies guilty of treason. He implied that they whistleblowers be killed.
He flipped out twice yesterday too. The first time was with the president of Ukraine, a political novice new to his position, so he could clear Trump of any wrong doing, basically everything in the “transcript” that he stupidly released. He made him tell the press that Trump is innocent of putting any pressure on him. He dutifully praised Trump on camera and shared how grateful he is to the United States for everything. Trump cut him off and went on a tangent. Biden Biden Biden. Fake news. Our country is doing great, we have the largest economy in the world and it wouldn’t be if my opponent had won, we’ve picked up trillions and trillions of dollars of value and millions and millions of jobs. Yadda yadda yadda. He took a break and then did a second press event and repeated himself. He bragged about his poll numbers and said the Democrats are on a witch hunt because they can’t win the 2020 election. He told the press that they write lies. He is innocent. INNOCENT. He threw Mike Pence under the bus and said he has talked to the president of Ukraine too. “You might want to look into those calls.”
Mike Pence met with the president of Ukraine a few weeks ago in Poland. He went in Trump’s place because Trump was holding military aid over the Ukranian president’s head. Mike Pence is caught up in this too.
Ukraine wants to stay out of this. They just want the aid that was promised to them.
Trump’s dingbat press secretary, who makes $180,000 a year to not brief the press, stupidly sent the House Democrats their talking points about how to reframe the whistleblower mess and then stupidly sent out another email asking for them back.
Trump is going nuts. He’s fuming mad, tweeting, yelling, and frantically trying to figure out how to get out of the impeachment corner he has painted himself in to.
Trump has lost control of the news cycle which is everything to him. Now what?
There are enough votes right now in the House to impeach.
