Make America Great Expectations
One of the many grievances Trump has now, at the end of his failed presidency, is that he expected that the Third Lady would be featured on the cover of the most prestigious fashion magazines and wasn’t. White trash isn’t in vogue even though MAGAs think Melanie is “classy.”
Christmas came and went and as expected, Trump didn’t have any important phone calls or meetings like the White House said he’d have. He just golfed, tweeted, and sulked. He tweeted on Christmas Eve: I saved at least 8 Republican Senators, including Mitch, from losing in the last Rigged (for President) Election. Now they (almost all) sit back and watch me fight against a crooked and vicious foe, the Radical Left Democrats. I will NEVER FORGET!
MAGAs think that Trump is actually sticking up for them by insisting they get $2,000. Republicans didn’t expect that. Ha! If they don’t sign off on the 2 grand then MAGAs will see that as a betrayal of Trump, not them and then the Republicans will lose them, the MAGAs (insert diabolical laughter here.)
Millions of people flew over Christmas. When reporters asked doctors what they recommended for safe travel, they all said DON’T GO. That’s not the responses they expected. Reporters wanted tangible tips so they asked again and doctors gave the same advice that they have been giving and people have been ignoring for 9 months. STAY HOME.
Expect gruesome news and images in January after millions have spread the virus all across the country for Christmas, living like there’s no tomorrow which should be expected if you ignore doctors’ orders.
Thousands of exhausted, traumatized nurses have lost their faith in humanity. They expect very little from people any more. More and more people think they can do whatever they want because rules and sacrifices apply to other people, not to them. Adherence to public health guidelines are as low as nurses’ spirits. Most of them pretty much agree that too many Americans are selfish and don’t deserve anything for Christmas. People are dying alone because other people won’t social distance and wear masks.
Contract tracers have to do more than go into infected communities to warn people about the dangers they face and tell them to stay home. They must now also play the roles of social workers and therapists because people are in crisis. They never expected that they’d have to be all things to all people. They’re getting tapped out emotionally and mentally too.
75 People in North Carolina so far have tested positive for the coronavirus after they stupidly participated in their church’s Christmas pageant. What did they expect? Jesus would disinfect the sanctuary with some sort of magic Christmas miracle dust?
Mike Pompeo’s wife has the coronavirus. She got it at one the many maskless White House holiday parties. Gee, who would have expected that?
A guy with an ax to grind took an actual ax to the office of US Senator John Hoeven in North Dakota and used it to bust through the front window. Since he was masked and the senator is a Republican he could be a Democrat but not the tree hugging kind of Democrat. But since MAGAs are blaming Republicans for failing to overturn the election for their lord and savior Trump he could be a 21st century conspiracy theory believing, lazy working class, celibate not by choice, white male Republican with great expectations and an ax.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s spokesman, Fred Piccolo, deactivated his Twitter account after he tweeted in the middle of night that for every photo of a dead coronavirus victim there should be 99 photos of people who survived. Liberals are making too big of a deal out of the coronavirus. Such a heartless, reckless attitude is to be expected from the Republican party in 2020. Fuck everybody except us and the people who we can trick into voting for us.
Tennessee is in crisis this morning. There was a terrorist attack in downtown Nashville on Christmas morning. Somebody parked an RV loaded with explosives in front of an AT&T building which held networking equipment, causing the airport and 9–1–1 telecommunications for 180 miles to go down. Trump hasn’t commented on it even though he’s been briefed. Must be white nationalists. If it had been anybody else or if there was any way they could make it look like BLM or Antifa did it, they would have done it. Expect more of this. Meanwhile, the coronavirus numbers in Tennessee are at critical mass destruction. The Tennessee’s health commissioner said, “If we have another surge after Christmas and New Year’s like we did after Thanksgiving, it will completely break our hospitals.”
Trump is still ranting about the election being rigged. He called the Supreme Court weak and incompetent because it didn’t give him the win which is what he expected.
