Remember Tara Reade, the pro-Putin grifter who lied in 2020 and said that Biden sexually assaulted her when she worked for him when he was a senator? She’s back in the headlines again for defecting to Russia. She announced it on Russian state TV during a press conference alongside convicted Russian spy Maria Butina who spent time in a US prison after being convicted for spying on the US and infiltrating the NRA. She’s helping Tara get her Russian citizenship. Reade told the pro-Putin press that she moved there because she no longer feels safe in “Biden’s America.”
Around the same time that Tara Reade was trying to set Biden up by crying “Me too!”, Kayleigh McEnany was Trump’s press secretary. She let herself be humiliated and used by Trump. Before that she had all sorts of jobs in media and politics. She was a talking head on CNN, their conservative political commentator who was critical of Trump during the 2016 campaign. You wouldn’t know it by the horrible career choice that she made by joining his campaign and administration, but she has a couple of prestigious degrees from Georgetown and Harvard, now totally wasted because she attached her wagon to Trump’s pompous ass supernova star. She sold her soul to the devil and not in a cool, folkloric way like Robert Johnson, but in the worst way if you’re as devout a Christian as she is. She went to Catholic school as a kid, wears a crucifix necklace every day, and works the fact that she’s a Christian into most conversations. She did that so many times during her deposition with the Select Committee that Liz Cheney finally said, exasperated, “I’m a Christian too.”
Catholic Church fun fact: The Catholic Church is declaring bankruptcy to get out of paying the victims who were raped by priests as children so it can keep its billions in assets that it looted over the centuries. Total payout so far has been in the billions. In California, the Diocese of Santa Rosa filed for bankruptcy, citing new lawsuits from more than 200 survivors of child sexual abuse. The Diocese of Oakland has 330 looming clergy sexual abuse lawsuits so it’s going bankrupt, and the Diocese of San Diego is considering filing for bankruptcy because it’s got 400 claims.
Trump took a shot at Kayleigh McEnany in a post on Truth Social. He threw her under the bus like he does everyone eventually. She was his final press secretary and she lied her ass off for him. He said that the RINOs and globalists can have her and that Fox should only hire real stars. He called her milk toast. After Trump, Kayleigh McEnany went back to work for Fox most likely because nobody else would hire her. The Fox News audience didn’t know the difference. They already thought she worked there because she spent more time on Fox as press secretary than she did in the briefing room.
The Select Committee subpoenaed her because she was the press secretary when the attack on the Capitol happened. She was Trump’s press secretary but at the same time she “volunteered” for his campaign, switching hats to “exercise my first amendment rights.” When the committee asked her if Trump ever asked her to lie for him her attorney would jump in so she wouldn’t have to answer. She claimed that she had no idea what was going on inside the White House for 2 weeks before January 6 because she spent the holidays at home in Florida with her family and wasn’t plugged in to the news. The press secretary for the most powerful man in the world during the end of his tumultuous presidency was not “plugged into the news?” She watched the coup on Fox from inside the White House while it was happening. All of the information she got was from Fox. Nothing else. She didn’t even look at Twitter. She was asked if she had her phone set to receive notifications from any reporters and she said no. A press secretary doesn’t get notifications from main stream reporters and doesn’t even use Twitter? Nope. Just Fox. She was living inside the Fox bubble as much as the people who watch it. Mark Meadows told her not to make any statements to the press, even after reports of injuries. She, Trump, lvanka, Mark Meadows, Dan Scavino, and Eric Herschmann were all together in the private dining room. Nobody told Trump to tell people to stop or go home. They just asked him to tell them to be peaceful.
During her time in the White House, Kayleigh McEnany texted Sean Hannity more than anybody else and went on his show every night. She sought out his advice on how to handle Trump the day after the riot since he was an expert at calming the baby down. He gave her tips out of his “playbook.”
Kayleigh McEnany was so loyal to Trump she protected him during her deposition with the Select Committee about January 6 and now he’s calling her milk toast.
