Articles of Impeachment are being delivered to the Senate in a few hours. This is not business as usual.
The House released 60 out of thousands of pages of material turned over by Lev Parnas, a Russian born “businessman” who was paid to throw the election to Trump by taking money that the Russians had given him and throwing it at Trump and the Republicans. A new thug in the Ukraine scandal has emerged, Robert Hyde, a candidate for Congress in Connecticut. He had Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch under surveillance and would send regular text messages to Rudy Giuliani about her whereabouts. He sent directives too such as, “They are willing to help if we/you would like a price” and “If you want her out they need to make contact with security.” Rudy was tracking and following her. Were they planning on assassinating a US diplomat? Was this a planned mob hit on a public servant in a foreign country by the Trump mafia? Is that why she was told to leave Ukraine immediately? Was she being warned that if she didn’t leave at once that she would be killed?
Robert Hyde’s defense for sending emails about spying on Marie Yovanovitch? He was drunk at the time.
The State Department has been silent on all of this new evidence from Lev Parnas. So have members of Congress who publicly slandered Marie Yovanovitch. Never go against the family.
Mike Pompeo didn’t say a word then and he hasn’t said a word now. Business as usual.
In other news, Trump decided to kill Soleimani 7 months ago but waited until he was impeached to do it. Now he’s like it’s just another business deal. “It doesn’t really matter if Soleimani was an imminent threat.” He needed to go and I got rid of him.
Michael Flynn says that after admitting he was guilty of betraying his country 2 years ago he isn’t after all. He’s innocent.
Russia has blatantly hacked into Burisma in Ukraine to find anything at all on Biden so they can use whatever they find and spin it. They’ll take lies and entwine them with unimportant, irrelevant truths to turn voters away from Biden and get people fighting on social media.
Moving ahead with the people’s business, Nancy Pelosi announced the managers for the impmeachment trial in the Senate. They are Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Zoe Lofgren (she worked on both the Nixon and Clinton impeachments), Hakeem Jeffries, Val Demings, Jason Crow, and Sylvia Garcia. Most of them are litigators (Val Demmings’ background is in law enforcement including police chief.) They also happen to be a diverse team. Only three of them are white men.
The Senate trial starts Tuesday.
“This is a test of the Constitution” Congressman Jerry Nadler said, “the Senate will be on trial along with the president.”
Assassinating an Iranian General for political gain, putting a hit out on a US ambassador on foreign soil, numerous suicides of Deutsch Bank executives, a mysterious death of an international sex trafficker with ties to politicians, Trump and other very powerful men, the disinterest in the killing of an American journalist critical of Trump by the Saudis, pardoning of war criminals, and the carrying out of Putin’s orders to make Russia great again.
