Moscow Mitch
Why does Ivanka Trump have Chinese trademarks for voting machines and why did Mitch McConnell accept money from voting machine lobbyists?
“Moscow Mitch” is trending and it’s really getting to him. Mitch McConnell had a fit on the Senate floor and said the liberals were picking on him. It’s McCarthyism! The Democrats are gaslighting him! Moscow Mitch crying gas lighting is gas lighting. He is offended that he has been labeled as “unpatriotic” and “unAmerican” just because he has blocked election security bills. How dare the Democrats.
Moscow Mitch is pissed off about the billboards that are popping up in Kentucky as well. One is a photo of he and his wife, transportation secretary Elaine Chao with the caption, “We’re rich. How y’all doin?” and another, “Putin’s Mitch.”
Mitch’s communications director released a statement saying it was the first amendment right of “liberal activist groups” to put on “good street theater” by putting up those billboards.
Democrat theatre good, Republican theatre bad (really, really bad — so bad that the only time they can get anybody to come to their shows is when they force people to watch them as they yell at witnesses in congressional hearings.)
Have you noticed that Mitch McConnell never speaks to the press without his posse of old white men in suits standing next to and behind him?
In contrast, Rashida Tlaib formally inducted 200 elected officials from around the country into The Squad. Not a single old white man in a suit was among them.
Alan Dershowitz, Fox News’ talking head who rich people in the Hamptons won’t talk to anymore because he is BFFs with Trump, the lawyer who partied at Jeffrey Epstein’s house but kept his underwear on, is trying to defend himself in the court of public opinion by using abortion and Romeo and Juliet to make the case that if a 16 year old has the constitutional right to get an abortion and if Juliet could get married (but not) at 13, then surely all those girls accusing Epstein of sexually trafficking them were old enough to be prostitutes.
Ukrainians got to vote in free and fair elections 2 weeks ago. This weekend a thousand Russians were arrested for striking because they wanted free and fair elections. Meanwhile Americans can’t be bothered with reading the Mueller report.
Another Russian journalist, Vladimir Kara-Murza, has mysteriously died while the Russian people have been protesting in the streets for weeks and Putin’s rival, Alexei Navalny, has been sitting in jail. Vladimir Kara-Murza was a pioneer of independent TV and critical of Putin. His son was a pall bearer for John McCain.
“It is truly a sad day when Putin personally has bigger protest problems on his hands in Moscow than in Washington. It also says so much about how lazy Americans are.” — Adam Parkhomenko
Fox and Friends is still talking about Baltimore this morning. Brian Kilmeade said of its education system, “I don’t think anyone passed statewide tests in some of these inner-city schools.” (subliminal message: White people are good. Everybody else bad. Vote for Trump or the black people will take over and rats will chew your face off.)
While the media is preoccupied with being shocked and horrified debating about whether or not the president of the United States is racist, nobody is talking about the Dems’ impeachment inquiry or Trump’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
