President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden hosted Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House for the unveiling of their official portraits which is a tradition that Trump refused to honor because he’s a petty, vindictive little bitch. The last time there was an unveiling of a presidential portrait was 10 years ago when Obama graciously welcomed George W. Bush and his wife, Laura. In his speech, Obama said that every president is a temporary resident of the White House who is charged with the upkeep knowing that they must leave when the lease expires. Michelle Obama said she hoped that their portraits would inspire children to see themselves there one day. If a bi-racial man with an unusual name and a daughter of a water pump operator can live there, so can they. In Biden’s speech he told Obama, “Nothing could’ve prepared me better or more to become President than being at your side for eight years.” The ceremony was so civilized, refreshing and uplifting that people forgot about Trump for a little while and reminisced about the good old days. Such intelligence, dignity, humility, grace and humor. A picture worth a thousand words.

Trump behaved as a deadbeat flopper who owned the place. As a twice impeached, one term president who oversaw an attempted coup and stole classified and top secret documents, he better not get a portrait. The only picture of Trump that would be acceptable is his mug shot.
The Anti-Defamation League published leaked membership data of The Oath Keepers that hackers got hold of — more than 38,000 members including 81 people who hold elected office as mayors, town councilmembers, school board members, and state representatives and senators. 42 are up for election –22 incumbents and 20 candidates (21 have advanced to the general election and 4 have already won their general election). 373 law enforcement officers including 10 chiefs of police and sheriffs, 1,000 people who used to serve in law enforcement, 229 members of the military (ADL estimates that one in ten of the individuals in the database previously served in the military in some capacity), 6 fire fighters including fire chiefs, 19 paramedics, and 31 emergency technicians, plus religious figures, teachers, civil engineers and government employees. Some hold top secret clearances or have jobs that give them access to critical infrastructure such as nuclear facilities. One member is a doctor who recruits his patients for membership in the anti-government domestic terrorist organization. Release their names. We want to see their mugshots.
The leader of the Oath Keepers, Stewart Rhodes, has been playing games with the court system and wants to fire his legal team to delay his trial which only pissed the judge off. No more games. His trial date remains — September 26. He was indicted on seditious conspiracy charges for leading the charge for the Oath Keepers to overthrow the government for Trump on January 6. His mugshot is unforgettable. He’s the tough guy with the pirate eye patch.
The Oath Keepers are in disarray. With the leader in jail awaiting trial, the group’s legal counsel getting arrested last week for conspiracy to obstruct the certification of Biden’s electoral college victory, and members living in fear of being outed for being on the membership roster, the group is floundering, awaiting its fate. Tough guys are scared they’re going to get mugshots taken.
Mitch McConnel was asked to comment on Trump being a spy but he wouldn’t. Josh Hawley was eager to comment. He’s outraged that the FBI violated Trump’s privacy. He could be their party’s 2024 nominee for president. How dare they!
Steve Bannon turns himself in today. He has been given every courtesy that all entitled rich white men expect and get and still he flouts his disdain for the government, hoping to incite his followers to avenge the injustice bestowed upon him. Never mind that he is awaiting sentencing in another case for contempt of Congress. The state of New York is out to get him and he will fight to the death! Never mind that he ripped MAGAs off with a bogus charity that raised $25 million for Trump’s wall that never got built. Will they take a new mugshot today or will they use the one they have on file?
