Former FBI acting director Andrew McCabe just came out with a book, The Threat, and he’ll be on 60 Minutes this Sunday to talk about it. Get ready to be scared. He’s going to talk about how the FBI opened a case on obstruction of justice right after Jim Comey was fired and how they had a serious discussion about removing Trump under the 25th amendment 4 months into his presidency. Buy his book and help the guy out. Trump screwed him out of his pension by firing him when he did.
Andrew McCabe wrote, “I was speaking to the man who had just won the election for the presidency and who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia………. He thought that North Korea did not have the capability to launch such missiles because Vladimir Putin had told him so…………. In this moment, I felt the way I’d felt in 1998, in a case involving the Russian Mafia, when I sent a man I’ll call Big Felix in to meet with a Mafia boss named Dimitri Gufield. The same kind of thing was happening here, in the Oval Office.”
Trump is losing it over Andrew McCabe, as expected. He quoted his lawyer buddy and Fox News talking head, Alan Dershowitz, in a tweet: “Trying to use the 25th Amendment to try and circumvent the Election is a despicable act of unconstitutional power grabbing…which happens in third world countries. You have to obey the law. This is an attack on our system & Constitution.”
Alan Dershowitz said using the 25th amendment, which is in the constitution, is unconstitutional.
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
THE WALL IS ALREADY BEING BUILT
THE 25TH AMENDMENT IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL
Fox News talking head fun fact: Alan Dershowitz went to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex parties at his house in Florida, but swears all he got were massages from those young girls.
This has been a great week for William Barr. The Senate voted to confirm him as the new Attorney General, his daughter got a job working in the federal financial crimes office, and the husband of his other daughter was hired in the White House counsel’s office. Word for the day: Nepotism.
The Senate voted yesterday on the budget deal. The police shoved reporters out of the way as senators walked in to the capitol to vote. They wouldn’t let reporters talk to them. That’s not supposed to happen in America.
A judge ruled that conspiracy theorist and fucking lunatic Alex Jones must sit for a 5 hour deposition by attorneys for the parents of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims. They are suing him for defamation after he claimed on his InfoWars lunatic show that the shooting was a hoax.
Smart ass Matt Whitaker is going to have to testify again in front of Congress because he was a belligerent, disrespectful cocky shit when he appeared last week.
Trump is going to declare a national emergency at the southern border today before heading off to his private beach club in Florida for the weekend.
“It’s not a national emergency when you have enough time to install a $50,000 state-of-the-art golf simulator in the White House” — Robert Reich
Trump will be taken to court over the national emergency. It’s a blatant abuse of executive power. He’ll lose. He should be impeached for this one thing alone but he won’t be because REPUBLICANS.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Mitch the Bitch McConnell went from opposing the national emergency to supporting it. White House counsel Pat Cipollone said the emergency declaration would prompt lawsuits. Mitch the Bitch got bitchy and snapped, “Who cares? This is America — everybody sues everybody else!”
Hitler declared a national emergency before taking Germany over. He was able to go from being an elected leader of a democracy to a dictator in no time at all by scaring the crap out of the German people and making the enemy out of “others,” and then censoring newspapers and spying on people which led to he and the Nazis gaining complete control over Germany. The rest is history. Some of the worst history on human record.
“Years from now, we’ll note with regret that Trump and McConnell picked the one year anniversary of Parkland to announce they were declaring a national emergency and that national emergency didn’t have anything to do with gun violence.” — Adam Parkhomenko
“Ideally, the president of the United States, the head of a multi-generational crime family, a compromised Russian asset and the stupidest fucking moron on the planet should not all be the same person and that right there, my friends, is the realest national emergency ever” — Jeff Tiedrich
