Nazi Thanksgiving
Trump dined with 24 year old Nazi Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago over Thanksgiving weekend.
Nick Fuentes is an anti-Semitic Holocaust denying white supremacist that believes that we need a dictatorship to force people to believe what he and the rest of America’s Nazis believe. Before the insurrection he said that Trump should never leave and that we should stop having elections. He doesn’t think that women should have the right to vote and that white teenagers should have lots of kids to build huge white families to repopulate America with whites only. No immigrants allowed. He recently called for the military to be sent into Black neighborhoods to take control of their communities and demanded that Jews leave the country.
He attended the violent and deadly United the Right rally in Charlottesville in 2017 when he was a teenager. This was the white supremacist event where the mob wore khakis and polo shirts, carried lit tiki torches, and chanted, “Jews will not replace us!” Trump said there were very fine people on both sides. Fuentes is friends with Roger Stone and collaborates with Alex Jones. Trump denied that he knew Fuentes even though he had dinner with him at Mar-a-Lago and once said that he liked him because “he gets me.”
Trump denied knowing David Duke, the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, too, even though he endorsed Trump for president.
Trump denied knowing the Proud Boys before his infamous comment during the 2020 presidential debate, “Stand back and stand by” which they took as an order.
Nick Fuentes has a show called America First which has a cult following. He said he was inspired to start the show when Trump ran for president the first time. He has been banned from nearly all social media platforms except for Trump’s Truth Social.
Fuentes started the America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC) in 2020 because the traditional Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) wasn’t racist and anti-Semitic enough. He’s gotten kicked out of CPAC events and barred from venues that have hosted CPAC. The second annual AFPAC event was held in February 2021 and featured white supremacist speakers former Iowa Representative Steve King and current Arizona Representative Paul Gosar. The third one was this year and featured speakers Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar. Fuentes praised Hitler and got the crowd cheering for Putin and Russia. Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes was there.
After getting kicked out of CPAC in July of 2021 Fuentes held his own event across the street and proclaimed, “I have nothing to lose. This is going to be the most racist, sexist, antisemitic, Holocaust-denying speech in all of Dallas this weekend!”
Fuentes was one of the first to participate in the rallies that led up to the attack on the Capitol. Two days before the attack, he discussed killing state legislators who were unwilling to overturn the results of the 2020 election. “What can you and I do to a state legislator — besides kill them? We should not do that. I’m not advising that, but I mean, what else can you do, right?” He told his followers to obstruct justice by destroying their phones if they were at the Capitol on January 6.
GOP leaders Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell are pretending like Trump spending Thanksgiving weekend with a Nazi didn’t happen. Mitt Romney finally got around to denouncing him and Mike Pence got brave and said Trump should apologize, but for the most part the Republicans are remaining silent about the former president of the United States and the leader of their party being a Nazi just like they have for the past 6 years. They aren’t staying quiet because they’re scared of Trump. They’re quiet because they’re OK with it. Nick Fuentes speaks for them.
Republicans are Nazis fun fact: CPAC was in Budapest this year. Republicans met with fascist allies to plot a new world order. The speakers were Nazis. This isn’t a few wackos on the far right, it’s the entire Republican party. Trump is their leader but they don’t really need him anymore. They can take it from here which has Trump very nervous. He hates being lonely. He’s leaving the front door open so any wacko can walk in, sit down with him, listen to his never ending bullshit, and eat.
The Germans have a saying that if a Nazi sits down at a table and 9 more people sit down you have 10 Nazis at the table. Trump has a pretty long table. The door is open — have a seat.
