No Joke Lindsey
The Fulton County special grand jury investigating potential criminal interference in Georgia’s 2020 election has subpoenaed key members of Trump’s legal team including Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman and Jenna Ellis. It also subpoenaed Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.
Lindsey Graham has not said a single word since the news broke yesterday. Nothing on Twitter, no press releases, no talking to the press, and no going on Fox News to rant about a witch hunt.
Lindsey Graham called Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger TWICE to convince him to throw out votes so Trump could win in Georgia. He called other secretaries of state, too.
As the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham set about investigating alleged “voting irregularities” after the 2020 election. He said, “If Republicans don’t challenge and change the US election system, there will never be another Republican president elected again. President Trump should not concede.”
According to Lindsey Graham, who tried Bill Clinton in his impeachment trial in 1998, he himself should resign. He said, “You don’t even have to be convicted of a crime to lose your job in this constitutional republic if this body determines your conduct as a public official is clearly out of bounds in your role.”
Lindsey may have had knowledge of the quid pro quo Trump made of the president of Ukraine which resulted in the first impeachment. After Rudy’s “associate” Lev Parnas got busted trying to leave the country right before he was to testify before Congress, he told CNN that Lindsey Graham was “in the loop.”
Lindsey Graham’s 2016 campaign manager, Christian Ferry, worked alongside Paul Manafort and Russian intelligence operative Konstantin Kilimnik on a deal with Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska. He was even mentioned in Oleg Deripaska’s 2014 Cayman Islands court documents as a key associate of Paul Manafort.
Lindsey used to watch Russia like a hawk, but after Trump lifted sanctions against three Russian businesses involved with Oleg Deripaska, he voted with Trump.
Lindsey has taken a lot of money from the Russians and the NRA.
After the first presidential debate for the Democrats on June 26, 2019, Lindsey tweeted: After tonight’s #DemocraticDebate…….that whole Trump 3rd term thing is looking better and better.
Before he released the Mueller Report, Bill Barr met with Lindsey Graham who was the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee at the time to come up with a plan to help Trump. They decided to investigate the investigators.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: The Russians hacked Republican emails at the same time they hacked the Democrats during the 2016 presidential campaigns. Among those hacked was Lindsey Graham which explains why Lindsey went golfing with Trump and never came back.
Lindsey Graham used his power as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee to rush Amy Comey Barrett through so she could take her seat on the radical right Federalist Society Supreme Court. He opened the hearing by saying, “I have never been more proud of a nominee. This is history being made, folks. This is the first time in American history that we’ve nominated a woman who is unashamedly pro-life and embraces her faith without apology.” While he was campaigning for re-election, he told voters that Amy Coney Barrett showed young women that they can go anywhere in America “if you are pro-life, if you embrace your religion and you follow traditional family structure.” One of the questions he asked her during her committee hearing was, “You’re not aware of any effort to go back to the good old days of segregation by a legislative body, is that correct?” People were horrified that he said that but he brushed it off and said it was just a joke.
