Objections
Today is day 13 of the Trump trial. The infamous Stormy Daniels testified. When Trump found out about that early this morning he posted on Truth Social:
I have just recently been told who the witness is today. This is unprecedented, no time for lawyers to prepare. No Judge has ever run a trial in such a biased and partisan way. He is CROOKED & HIGHLY CONFLICTED, even taking away my First Amendment Rights. Now he’s threatening me with JAIL, & THEY HAVE NO CASE — This according to virtually all Legal Scholars & Experts! Why isn’t the Fake News Media reporting this Conflict?
He took the post down soon after posting it because the judge said he was going to put him in jail the next time he did anything like that.

Stormy Daniels testified that she bumped into Trump on a golf course in 2006 at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe when she was 27 and he was 60. One bump led to another and the next thing she knew she was in his hotel suite and he was in silk pajamas. Trump inferred that what she was about to do was one way out of the trailer park.
The “encounter” was very brief. He told her she reminded him of his daughter, “blonde and beautiful.” When Stormy asked if he was married he told her not to worry about that because they don’t even sleep in the same room together (Melania had just given birth over 3 months before). Before their quickie, he asked her if she had been tested for std’s. Stormy said she had and that she was clean.
There were no questions about anybody’s genitalia from the prosecution but it did come up that Trump didn’t wear a condom. Pun intended. Objection! Pun intended.
She agreed to the dinner even though she preferred not to go. Her publicist talked her into it. “If nothing else, you’ll get a great story. It’ll make a great story. He’s a business guy. What could possibly go wrong?”
The dinner was arranged by Trump’s bodyguard. She didn’t know the bodyguard’s name so she put him in her phone contacts as Keith Trump. He gave her the directions on where to go. They were to meet at Trump’s suite at Harrah’s resort.
Trump would end up calling Stormy a lot and her publicist told her to keep taking his calls to keep the conversation going.
After the Access Hollywood audio tape was released before the election in 2016 Trump sent Cohen to bribe Stormy Daniels into keeping her mouth shut about the two of them back in 2006 in exchange for $130,000. She signed an agreement that said she agreed to no contact with Trump and to pretend like she didn’t know him if she ran into him in public. That was easy. Stormy Daniels agreed to ignore Donald Trump for money. That was a welcome, profitable relief because he was so gross and he bugged her so much. She said Trump “would call on average once a week, sometimes two to three times a week, sometimes not for three weeks.” She admitted that she would put him on speakerphone and not tell him.
Five years before the pay off in June of 2011, she was approached by a man in the parking lot of a Mommy-and-Me class in Las Vegas where she was about to go in with her new baby. He threatened her not to tell her story about her “encounter with Trump.” He scared her to death.
During cross examination the defense attorney asked Stormy Daniels, “Am I correct that you hate President Trump?”
Stormy Daniels answered “Yes.”
“And you want him to go to jail?”
“I want him to be held responsible,” Stormy Daniels replied.
Trump’s attorneys requested that the judge declare a mistrial after Stormy Daniels testified because the testimony was explicit. No it wasn’t! The prosecution said they wouldn’t ask any questions about genitalia and they didn’t.
The judge denied the mistrial and Stormy Daniels will return to the witness stand on Thursday.
To nobody’s surprise, Trump is blowing off his son’s graduation on May 17, after asking the judge to give him the day off to attend a fundraiser.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams says the city’s Department of Correction and Rikers Island will be ready if Trump gets sent to jail.
