Oh Well
The coronavirus is worse now than it’s ever been in the US (or anywhere else in the world) thanks to Trump and his idiot followers who believe everything he says so they think the virus isn’t what everybody else in the world says it is. The US hit a new record — more than 98,000 cases and 982 deaths in one day. MAGAs be like, “Oh well.”
230,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. That’s more than the population of Boise or Baton Rouge or Des Moines or Salt Lake City or Little Rock but oh well.
The coronavirus is the #3 cause of death in the US. The media should be reporting it that way. Cancer is #2. Heart disease is #1 but oh well.
Wisconsin is the epicenter of death and dying. Doctors begged Trump not to come to the state to hold any super spreader rallies and he not only blew them off and did it anyway, he told his cult followers at the rallies that doctors are inflating death tolls for profit, “You know, our doctors get more money if someone dies from COVID, you know that right?”
Wisconsin hospitals are running out of beds and trained staff but oh well.
Trump is telling his followers in Wisconsin that they need to demand that they open up their state. Normal people who don’t want to die a miserable lonely death say, “Oh? Well! Vote for Biden!”
The Russians have hacked hospitals and are demanding money but oh well.
Republican hypocrite fun fact: The Republicans in the state legislature in Wisconsin refused to postpone their primary or extend absentee voting because of the stay at home orders in April, forcing voters to choose between their health and their right to vote which meant voters and poll workers got infected and sick but oh well.

The Supreme Court rejected a request to extend the deadline to count mail in ballots received after Election Day in Wisconsin. People are going to have to stand in line again for hours during a deadly pandemic and Republicans are like oh well, hoping that it’s too cold outside and the infection rates are off the charts so people won’t show up. Absentee ballots must be received by 8 pm on Nov 3 which means they must be hand delivered.
After the Kenosha uprising, a white lawyer in Wisconsin spit in the face of a black teen who was protesting and got arrested, then a mob of white men doused a biracial teenaged girl with lighter fluid and set her on fire and then called her a nigger. MAGAs are like, oh well.
Speaking of Wisconsin — can Paul Ryan show his face anywhere?
Wisconsin used to be a reliably blue, pro-union state in the Rust Belt but given that it’s 87% white, Republicans have managed to seduce just enough gullible white people over to the dark side.
None of the BLM protests have become super spreaders since the very nature of these events is to march for others, people wear masks and social distance so they don’t jeopardize others, they want everybody to stay well. The super spreaders are in Wisconsin, the White House and various other MAGA rallies in swing states, hot spots where nobody gives a shit about anybody else and throw up their hands and say “Oh, well.”
ICE has been deporting minors who are from Central America and dumping them in Mexico without guardians and the Republicans are like, oh well. The number of kids kidnapped from parents is way worse than we know. Joe Biden has pledged to reunite children with their parents on day 1 of his presidency.
Trump is so desperate to rustle up a few more racist votes that he issued a xenophobic proclamation that October 30 be known as Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens. Some staffers may have thought that was a bad move but since he doesn’t listen to anybody all they could do was shrug their shoulders and say, “Oh well.” They say “Oh well” a lot.
3 days until election day. Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Stay well — wear a mask, wash your hands, and vote!
