Out with the Old in with the New
2023 was the year of indictments and lawsuits. 2024 is going to be the year of trials. Trump is scared shitless. Literally. #trumpsmells trended for a week giving Trump a taste of his own juvenile medicine. He has finally been the target of immature insults like the thousands that he’s been hurling for 8 years. People made fun of him for wearing diapers which is common knowledge among his family, everybody who has worked for him, leaders of state, and anybody who has had the misfortune of being seated in a chair as he walked by. Former Republican congressman, Adam Kinzinger, said he smells like “arm pits, ketchup, makeup and ass.”

The past year Trump was indicted four times, got his mug shot taken once, went on trial twice, got hit with a multimillion-dollar civil defamation verdict and is back in court again for doing it again, and filed endless motions and lawsuits in order to delay all court proceedings because he has no defense, all while running for president.
In 2023, Congress only managed to pass a grand total of 27 bills. That’s because the MAGA Republicans don’t know how to govern and don’t care. The average number of bills passed in a year is 390. The average number of bills introduced in both houses per session is 10,000. MAGA Republicans are so dysfunctional they can’t get anything done. They make a lot of news because they’re so obnoxious, corrupt, and dangerous but they aren’t doing what they were elected to do — pass laws to make lives better for their constituents.

Republican candidate for president Nikki Haley, the former governor of the state where the Civil War started, was asked what caused the war and she refused to say slavery. She claimed that the person who asked the question was a “Democrat plant.”

There were over 400 strikes in 2023. Workers have had it with bosses exploiting their labor and are realizing that their only recourse is with union representation. Most everybody has a job or has had a job or will have a job. Unions make things better for workers so get those union jobs! The only time the middle class has ever been really strong and prosperous was when unions were strong. Live better work union.
Texas governor Greg Abbott shipped 350 migrants to Chicago on New Year’s Eve.
Trump threw a New Year’s party at Mar-Lago and none of his family came. Melania didn’t spend Christmas at Mar-Lago either. His date was his indicted butler, Walt Nauta. Trump made a speech and said people were scalping tickets to his party for $10,000 each.
Now that 2023 is over it’s a wonder how we all survived the havoc and devastation that drag queens created all year long. There are so many of them and they’re everywhere, indoctrinating and molesting children, especially children of Republicans. They steal their little MAGA hats and give them to their transgender friends to pee in in case they get kicked out of a bathroom.
In all seriousness, 2024 is going to be rough. It will be ugly and draining. Trump and the Republicans are going to burn it all down which gives Democrats the chance to build it back up again into a newer better version of the great experiment but they’re going to need lots of help.
