Out With the Old Normal
The rich and powerful are cutting in line to get treated for covid, a highly infectious and deadly disease that they’re responsible for because they’re so greedy and selfish, pushing people out of the way who got it most likely because of them. Greedy selfish rich people pushing everybody out of the way has to be the old normal after Trump is gone.
78 year old former Alabama senator Larry Dixon died of covid. His last words were, “We messed up.” Republicans have to be impacted personally and on their death beds to admit they’re wrong. What did he mean by “We messed up?” “We” as in our own family ignoring safety guidelines and then getting the plague, or “we” as in Republicans messed up by downplaying the plague?
Republicans only caring about themselves isn’t normal. It’s uniquely American and the reason why we’re in this mess and loathed by the rest of the world.
The Trump Plague may cause permanent erectile dysfunction, rendering horn dogs abnormal. Maybe that’ll get the Republicans to start caring now. Keep your mask with your rubbers, just in case.
David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler want to win their Senate races so they can keep receiving non-public information as members of Congress so they know when to buy and sell so they can get richer than they already are. Perdue made as many as 20 trades a day, for a total of 2,596 trades during his 6 year term. That’s normal for the rich.
Martha Stewart went to jail for 2 years for less than what Loeffler and Perdue have done.
Pfizer donated $5,000 to Loeffler and $5,000 to Perdue on November 23. Pfizer has a Trump Plague vaccine coming out soon. How much stock do Loeffler and Perdue have in Pfizer?
Forbidden for Biden: The Pentagon won’t let the Biden transition team in to meet with spy agencies to brief them on things like foreign intelligence. Trump won’t let them have any information. Trump replaced the top people at the Pentagon right after the election. One of them is a QAnon weirdo. Corey Lewandowski in one of the business defense advisory boards. This is not normal. Trump put loyalists in charge of secrets that he doesn’t want Biden to know about.
As Trump exits he’s not only pouring gasoline on all the fires he started at the White House, Congress, DOJ, Pentagon, Health and Human Services, the pandemic, Homeland Security, and our standing in the world community, he’s pouring gas on the Republican Party as a whole. Republicans are fighting with each other from elected officials at the federal level, to state legislators and governors, to leaders and members of the RNC from the national party all the way down to local clubs. Do we follow Trump, are we conservatives anymore, do we dare speak out against what we’ve become, or do we win at all costs?
Trump has normalized bribery, extortion, nepotism, mass murder, child abuse, racism, hatred, cheating, stealing, lying, vulgarity, incompetence, fascism, laziness, violence, mob style intimidation, stupidity, cruelty, infidelity, scapegoating, malignant narcissism, and gaslighting.
Jared and Ivanka just bought a place in Miami, Florida, the shithole state, for $31.8 million because New York doesn’t want them back. They can pretend to be normal in the state where nothing is normal.
Speaking of shithole Florida, the cops showed up at Rebekah Jones’ door and served her with a warrant to seize her computers and phones. She is the covid 19 scientist who was fired months ago for not lying to the public about what was really going on in the state of Florida. Governor DeSantis and the health department have been lying about the real dangers that people face. Since being fired, Rebekah Jones has been posting real covid numbers and in Florida on her own website. Florida politicians wants covid to be normal and Rebekah is screwing that up for them.
QAnon weirdos believe that Biden’s medical boot is actually hiding an ankle monitor after he was arrested in secret. QAnon weirdos are so abnormal that nobody takes them seriously but the thing is they take themselves seriously and as a result, they’re apt to do just about anything so look out.
The annual war on Christmas has begun again over at Fox. Ironically, the only one who has declared a war on Christmas is the Third Lady, Naked Melanie. Cue the Trump branded 2020 Christmas carol, “Fucking Chreeeesmus Stuff.”
New flash: As hard as Fox tries to make the war on Christmas a thing, the war is never actually won because many liberals love to celebrate Christmas, lots of them believe in God, and a fair amount actually own guns. They’re just not deranged, abnormal lunatics who want to legislate their version of normal on the rest of the country. In fact, over on the Democrats’ side of the room, there is no agreed upon definition of normal — just don’t be an asshole.
43 days until we can get back to normal but it won’t be the old normal. It will have to be a new normal that we’ll have to build from scratch since Trump torched it all.
