Biden’s impeachment inquiry by the MAGA Republicans is based on revenge and retribution. There is no evidence. A president can only be impeached if he has committed treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. Biden hasn’t committed any of these things. The Republicans have been investigating him for 5 years, trying to get him for anything. They tried to prove that he benefitted financially from Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals and using his position as VP to help Hunter’s business deals. Republicans accused Biden of being bribed by Burisma (a Ukrainian gas company that Hunter Biden was a board member of). Rudy hired people to dig stuff up on Hunter to hurt Biden’s presidential run for 2020 (which is what Trump was impeached the first time) but they found nothing. The Republicans thought they had him when they got his business partner, Devon Archer to testify before one of their stupid committees but things didn’t go as planned. He told the committee that Hunter never discussed business with his dad.
While Republicans “investigate” Biden for grifting off of Hunter, Trump’s daughter and son in law are not being investigated for making $640 million while “serving” in the White House and another $2 billion from the Saudis as a tip for services rendered.

2 days after Kevin McCarthy announced an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, the DOJ announced it is indicting Hunter Biden on gun charges. He lied on a gun purchase form……A BACKGROUND CHECK……one of the things that Republicans are vehemently opposed to but not this time. The question on the form was, “are you a drug addict?” He answered “no” like any other drug addict would. He bought the gun on October 12, 2018. The 5 year statute of limitations runs out in about a month so that’s why he’s being indicted now. The prosecutor is the same prosecutor who has been working this case for 5 years. He worked out a plea deal with Hunter two months ago but it got screwed up. The first 2 counts are false statement charges. The third charge is a possession charge. He only owned the gun for 11 days and never loaded or fired it. Such felony charges are never brought as stand alone charges. They’re always the extra charges that prosecutors tack on to cases for really bad guys. Hunter is not a really bad guy. He had never been in trouble with the law before. If he were anybody else, this wouldn’t be happening to him. It’s purely political. This is selective prosecution and retaliation. They investigated his whole life and this is all they came up with — a gun that Hunter bought for show and then dumped during a moment of clarity when he realized what a stupid idea that was and someone might tell. They did. His girlfriend (nice gal) at the time told authorities that the gun had been tossed into a dumpster.
Everything in the Hunter Biden gun case is predicated on addiction. The government will have to prove that Hunter knew he was a drug addict when he filled out that purchase form. Bill Clinton answered “no” when all the Republicans could get on him was “did you get a blow job by someone who isn’t your wife?” He lied about sex like all men do when they’re screwing around on their wives and are confronted about it. Hunter answered “no” when asked, “are you a drug addict?” which is what all drug addicts who aren’t ready to get clean yet say. He lied about being a drug addict like all drug addicts do. He’s a private citizen. His only “crime” is being the son of a Democratic president. Republicans would be raising hell right now if any of the Trump kids were indicted on gun charges. Second amendment! SECOND AMENDMENT! Government overreach! GOVERNMENT OVERREACH!
This case may not make it to trial because there already is a plea deal open, the feds will have to prove he knew he was an addict, and the case is unconstitutional because the government is denying the defendant his second amendment rights — he hadn’t committed any crimes with his gun.
Mitt Romney has announced he’s not running for re-election. He’s not a MAGA Republican so he’s had enough. There is a biography coming out about him. Republicans knew about January 6 before it happened. Senator Angus King heard about it from someone at the Pentagon. Mitt Romney was a target so Angus wanted to make sure Mitt knew. Then Mitt tried to warn Mitch McConnell but Mitch wouldn’t acknowledge him. He never returned his calls and emails. Republicans knew and they stuck with Trump because they were afraid MAGAs would murder them and their families.

There has been another school shooting at UNC Chapel Hill, the second shooting in 2 weeks. It was the day after students went to the state capital to demand gun legislation and were mocked by state legislators. The mass shooting was the third for Amie Boakye, a sophomore from Kentucky. Republicans don’t give a shit about Amie’s experience with guns. They only care about Hunter’s experience.
MAGA threats against FBI agents have doubled so the department has created a new division that is dedicated to tracking and responding to MAGA threats.
Marjorie Taylor Greene had dinner with Trump (halibut and Diet Cokes) on Sunday to discuss impeaching Biden. He’s been talking to Elise Stefanik once a week, too. Both of them want to be VP. Trump has got two women fighting over him. Neither one of them is his type, but they’ll do. Marjorie Taylor Greene has given their strategy away. Their plan is to drag Biden through the headlines day after day, week after week. Flood the zone with shit. They want a split screen when Trump’s trial is televised in Georgia so that their bogus impeachment trial and Hunter Biden’s bogus trial coincide with Trump’s trial. That should motivate MAGAs to vote and disgust everybody else so they don’t show up to vote at all. If everybody is a criminal then nobody is a criminal. If everybody is impeached, then impeachment means nothing and all politicians are the same.
Republicans are treating Congress like a wild west saloon. They’re so drunk on power and so obnoxious that they should really be thrown out on their slobbery asses, but they won’t because the sheriff drinks with them too (Diet Coke).
