As expected, Trump is playing games with the justice system. His attorneys responded to the government’s request for a protective order right before the deadline last night. He basically made demands that would pretty much allow him do whatever he wants, namely trying his case in the court of public opinion. He plans on taking whatever the prosecution gives him that is meant for preparation for trial, and using it to tell his own story in the media. He has been given a new deadline to respond to the government’s request for a minute order — Friday.
Trump has every intention to take whatever his legal team is given during discovery and release it to the media. He’s not supposed to mention names, addresses, personal information, or disclose evidence, but he is going to. He wants to taint the jury pool, get his cult followers jacked up, intimidate witnesses, and cause trouble to create delays.
Trump is out on bail for 3 separate arrests. He didn’t have to get mug shots taken, he didn’t have to pay bond, he doesn’t have to wear an ankle bracelet, and he gets to keep his passport. He’s free to fly around on his private plane to do MAGA rallies. He should be put in jail for making threats on social media but he’s getting special treatment.
Republicans have stayed silent on Trump threatening a federal prosecutor.
John Eastman is asking for his disbarment proceedings in California to be indefinitely postponed because he expects to be criminally charged.
New York’s Attorney General, Letitia James, is ready for trial. She filed a notice with the court to hold a trial without a jury against Trump, Junior, and Bleeding Gums Eric. She is seeking $250 million and a permanent injunction to keep them from ever doing business in New York again.
Trump has another court date coming up that isn’t getting any publicity. People are suing him for promising them they’d become millionaires if they bought into a pyramid scheme to “sell” video phones. He was the MLM’s spokesperson and persuaded people to use their savings to buy the “rights” to sell a product that nobody wanted to buy. Trump is such a phoney.
Trump told the judge that his lawyers need more time to prepare his defense because they’re too busy going on all the right wing shows to spin the narrative. They’re pretty stupid. John Lauro went on Newsmax and Fox News and admitted that Trump pressured Mike Pence to break the law. “He asked Mr. Pence to pause the voting for 10 days, allow the state legislatures to weigh in, and then they could make a determination to audit, or re-audit, or recertify. But what he didn’t do is, you know, send in the tanks, tell Mike Pence don’t go to Capitol Hill, or do anything that would obstruct the due process of government.” He said similar things on Laura Ingraham’s show. Ingraham said she could draft an indictment against Joe Biden and Merrick Garland with various media personalities as co-conspirators for “their purposeful mischaracterization of January 6th as an insurrection.”
A dead body has been found in the parking lot of the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix. This is the second dead body found on capital grounds in less than two weeks. Identities and causes of death not yet known. Creepy. MAGAs and the Proud Boys stormed the capital and called Speaker Rusty Bowers out by name on January 6 while the nation’s capital was under attack.
Arizona is one of the seven states that coordinated with Trump’s plan to overthrow the election. They had fake electors and conducted several recounts. Republicans forged electoral certifications on fake letterhead and even used the state seal. They sent them on to Congress and the National Archives with notarized signatures. The National Archives figured it out and rejected the fraudulent documents. Jack Smith subpoenaed them. The new state attorney general is investigating the 22 Republicans who volunteered to be fake electors. The Secretary of State asked the old attorney general to conduct a criminal investigation into Trump’s role in the fake electors scheme but the AG refused. Congressmembers Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs were part of the insurrection in DC. AZ GOP Chair Kelli Ward operated at the state level. She received a grand jury subpoena.
Lindsey Graham didn’t just talk to the secretary of state in Georgia. He admitted to talking to the secretaries of state in Nevada and Arizona, too, because he was the chair of the judiciary committee and had concerns about “election integrity.”

Last night President Biden traveled to Arizona to announce the creation of a new national monument to protect about a million acres of land around the Grand Canyon from uranium mining.
