Pieces of Trump
Trump is so hard up for cash he’s selling pieces of the suit that he was wearing when he got his mug shot taken in Fulton County.
Jack Smith has data from the phone Trump used in the White House before election day until after January 6. Smith knows where Trump was, what websites he visited, who he talked to, when Twitter was in use, etc. After his trial starts in March, the whole world will know too. Jack Smith also has cell phone data from someone else who was very close to Trump during this time.
Jack Smith has written proof that Trump was going to order the military to protect him when he refused to leave.
Jack Smith has gone straight to the Supreme Court to ask them to decide right now if Trump can stand trial in an effort to cut him off so he can’t play games that appeal appeal appeal in order to delay. The SCOTUS has given Trump 9 days to respond which is a good sign. A federal judge has already ruled that Trump is not entitled to total immunity against prosecution.
If the MAGA Supreme Court helps Trump beat the charges they would make themselves obsolete. As dictator, Trump would eliminate the Supreme Court. Gone would go all of their MAGA power and their safe standing being above the law. They wouldn’t be able to cash in all those bribes and accept all those gifts. They aren’t going to do that. They’d stick it to the country and give it to the fascist Republicans, but they’re not going to stick it to themselves.
Trump is trying to argue that January 6 can’t be an insurrection because it only lasted 3 hours (Republican chorus: A three hour tour…..)
A federal appeals court ruled that Trump can be sued for his role in inciting violence on January 6. He is not immune from civil liabilities just because he was president so anybody who was there and got physically hurt by the mob can sue Trump for money.
Trump will be in court until the day he dies.
Megyn Kelly had Tucker on her show and they discussed the high probability that Trump’s followers are going to get violent if he gets prosecuted for anything. What they are essentially doing is provoking his followers into getting violent, just like they did before January 6. They made a disclaimer and insisted that they didn’t want that to happen but “any rational person can see that that is going to happen. The charges aren’t real, they aren’t even for serious crimes.”
People don’t have to be violent to be dangerous. People who vote for Trump are dangerous. No rational person would vote for such a person.
Patrick McHenry, the guy with the bowtie who stepped up to serve as Speaker after McCarthy got booted out, will retire when his term ends in January of 2025. He’s not a MAGA kook but he’s had it. He doesn’t want to deal with MAGA kooks anymore. He got elected at the age of 29 and will end his political career at 49. He’ll have plenty of options after serving as finance chair. He made lots of connections and will no doubt be offered a high paying gig in the finance sector. He’ll be just fine.
At least 40 members of Congress will retire next year. They’re sick of the bullshit. Matt Gaetz said members are going to retire or die off because they’re so old.
Kate Cox went to another state to get a medically necessary abortion, leaving Republican courts in Texas to literally play games with her life. The attorney general said if her life was actually in danger, emergency rooms wouldn’t keep sending her home. Women’s lives are just a game to Republicans. They not only don’t care if she suffers and dies, they don’t care about her privacy or the psychological toll that being outed like this has had on her and her family. She’s nothing more than a Texas heifer — good for nothing but breeding.
Trump auctioned off the Trump branded Glock that he purchased illegally. He was under federal indictment so he can’t purchase guns. He donated it to a charity event at Mar-a-Lago. That’s another firearm transaction which violates federal law and his bail agreements. The auction item was labeled a “One of a kind Trump Glock from the 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump!”
Being under federal indictment hasn’t hurt Trump insofar as fundraising goes. People keep buying tickets to his rallies and throwing money at him for the collectibles he sells off of his website. He hasn’t lost his grifter touch.
If Trump is selling pieces of his suit, imagine what he’d get for classified documents.
