Race to the Finish
Kamala Harris has brought race to the forefront of the 2020 race. She confronted Joe Biden’s record on not supporting busing 20 years after Brown v Board of Education so that races could mix and minorities could get a chance to go to decent schools and get out of having to go to their crappy neighborhood schools. She was one of the first group of kids to benefit and look at her now — a US senator running for president, confronting Joe Biden in a televised debate that had more viewers than any other presidential race Democratic debate in history. 18 million watched. 9 million live streamed.
When Trump was asked about busing he said, “It has been something that they’ve done for a long period of time. There aren’t that many ways of getting people to schools.” He said he should have a policy for federally mandated busing in 4 weeks.

Trump joked with Putin about getting rid of journalists on the anniversary of the shooting at the Capital Gazette where 5 journalists and editors were killed. He met with MBS at the Imperial Hotel and called him “a friend of mine” and said it was an honor to be with him. Trump got blood on his hand when he shook MBS’s hand. MBS had a journalist killed for criticizing him and Trump. The journalist was a resident of the US and worked for the Washington Post.
Trump told a Russian reporter that Putin was a “great guy” and a “terrific person” and that we should have trade between Russia and the USA.
16 journalists have been killed or have disappeared in Russia since Putin took office in 1999.

Trump bragged that everybody loves him at the G20, “All of the leaders have come up and said it’s incredible what’s happened with the United States and they congratulate me and congratulate the people of the United States.”
Republican hypocrite fun fact: Former Republican congressman, Aarron Schock, has got some explaining to do after a photo of him at a gay night club putting dollar bills into a go-go dancer’s short shorts went viral. While in Congress he voted against all gay rights and paid for all of his fun with tax dollars. He resigned in 2015 after getting busted for partying on the tax payer’s tab ($100,000.) He was also indicted on federal corruption charges including mail fraud, filing false tax returns, and submitting false reports to the FEC.
Congressman Joe Kennedy III has called for impeachment.
Jimmy Carter said Trump is an illegitimate president because he didn’t actually win the election.
Trump’s campaign manager is in jail and is facing more jail time in the state of New York, his personal attorney who helped with his campaign is in jail, 2 guys who worked on his campaign have done time in jail, another guy who worked on the campaign who Trump rewarded with a job as national security adviser is going to go to jail, his top fundraiser is being investigated and could go to jail, and ALL of the Republicans are good with it.
Matt Gaetz is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee for intimidating and harassing Michael Cohen. The Florida Bar Association is looking into it too. Now Gaetz is worried that someone might throw pee on him.
Trump didn’t rant about all immigrants being criminals at the G20 Summit. He said people are coming to the border because America is doing so well and they wanna come here to “get in on it.”
The white supremacist who killed Heather Heyer with his car in Charlottesville, Virginia during the Jews Will Not Replace Us Rally when Trump said there are fine people on both sides was sentenced to life in prison.
Reporter April Ryan asked Trump to comment about the black teenagers he wanted to have executed 30 years ago. They were accused of raping a white woman and convicted. They were all falsely accused and spent 6–13 years in jail. All 5 were innocent. She asked him if he would like to apologize for the Central Park 5. Trump said, “You have people on both sides of that. They admitted their guilt … we’ll leave it at that.”
Trump tweeted that all of the Democrats who raised their hands during the debate to give illegal immigrants health care don’t put Americans first. He was talking to the racists. He’s going to plug this into his round ’em all up and deport them and jail them when they get here campaign. The 2020 campaign will be about race which will get really nasty if he has to face off with Kamala Harris who is black, strong, intelligent, competent, and a woman. His worst fear.

Trump has brought racism to the forefront for the 2020 race so far by demonizing brown immigrants and supporting white nationalism. He’ll work black men taking a knee in again too.
